There may be a bit of confusion as to the genius of this bag. And it is genius. When you're done reading this review, you'll get that. But back to the bag. It's genius. A micro-mini stuffed into a full size range bag. Here's what you're up against. Rules. If you know golf, golf is, if anything, a game of rules. If you want "rules simplicity", try chess. Yes. Golf is about rules. Not only are there rules governing the PLAY of golf (hockey sticks are technically illegal, as a putter can only be 48" in length), there are also rules for the golf course itself. Etiquette, and such. No playing through unannounced. No doing donuts in golf carts on the greens. Fix your divots. Especially the ones made with your putter. *waits for the chortles to die down* Oh, and no golf carts off the paths. You got a course near you that is a "golf carts stay on the paths" rule-happy? Of course you do. So, after you tee off, your 2nd shot is either a fairway wood or a fairway iron, yes? So you know what club you're shooting...and you grab it from the cart, make your shot, and move on. Up until you get real close to the green. Then the woods and irons stay in the bag, and what we need is wedges and putters, right? So...this bag. You load the regular part of the bag with your woods and irons. Because you don't need multiple clubs, you just need one for those shots. Then you're back in the cart. But when you're on your approach shot? You grab your little bag out...which is loaded with your putter (of course) and your wedges...your lob wedge, your pitching wedge, your wand wedge...that way, you're not running back and forth between the green and your cart, changing between whatever wedge you use to approach and your putter. As I said, genius. If you're a golfer, and you play a course like what I described? And this sounds like it might just save you a little time walking back and forth, changing wedges for putters? Then yeah. You're going to really appreciate this bag. I told you you'd get it, didn't I? Quality-wise, it's off the charts. This is a 5 star bag (as well as a 5-star idea) all the way.

This golf bag is seriously hefty. It is definitely a cart bag, at least for a casual golfer like myself. I could manage to use this on a push cart, but it is really designed to be strapped to the back of a golf cart. The fabric feels like good quality, it has a ton of pockets, including an insulated one for beverages. This feature is great for me because I have to carry an epi-pen and during the super hot days I can throw it in the cooler pocket with a small ice pack. But, you can put soda cans or water bottles in there too, it’s pretty roomy. The shoulder strap is nice and padded and the rain hood goes on and off pretty easily. The shoulder strap can be used on the full size bag and it also attaches to the day bag as well. There’s a sturdy handle on the front of the bag for easy lifting and there’s a handle on the day bag as well. It’s a 6 way bag, and I think the dividers go all the way to the bottom. The day bag has 2 compartments, and while it says you can hold 6-7 clubs, I think it’s more like 5-6. The day bag par has a few pockets, but it is pretty slim in profile (because it has to fit in the big bag) so you really can’t carry a whole lot of accessories. For the pitch and putt, it’s not a problem. For an executive course, it’s probably not an issue for a more advanced golfer, but for a beginner like myself, I like to have a few more options. I will try to update this review with a few photos. Of course, my son had to “borrow” it when it arrived and I wasn’t able to get any photos before, The day bag part is also a stand bag, so it has legs to lean on. It’s actually an ingenious idea, once I start using it, we’ll see if the execution is up to par, no pun intended. The cost of the bag may be a little prohibitive for some to just try it out, it really is an investment. I will update this review after I have more experience with it.

Pretty standard bag. It is a well made bag. It is as described in the product description. It stands up on its own on level group pretty well, but it does not have a stand like the lift-away bag does. My biggest issue is that it has lots of storage but all the pockets are very deep and not very convenient or easily accessible for smaller items like balls and tee's. Quality seems to be on par for the price range. Comes with a button on cover to go over the club heads. The shoulder strap is comfortable enough. The lift away small bag is a nice addition and slides in and out easily but fits snug so it won't fall out on it's own. The stand on the lift-away bag works well. The description says it can handle six or seven clubs, but I found it was pretty full up with just four clubs. The handle is comfortable and positioned in a well balanced location.
