So my nephew loved it and I thought all the extra batteries. It said it comes with would be awesome some and I didn't need to go to the store. I should have opened it before giving it to him. Because when we opened it together there was only the one rechargeable battery. Not two and no battery for current play. So of course a 7 year old isn't going to want to wait. So we had to stop playing and charge it. The remote control didn't have batteries either but his brother had some so thankfully for that . Over all check your box before gifting. It wasn't a bad price but don't say it comes with batteries for long time play and only send one. When it says it should come with at least 3 and none for the remote. Other then no batteries the kid loved the head lights and the color. He loved the style too. It does actually get fairly good speed and distance. The connection is easy , but there screws that are super tinny for battery cover. We took them out because the kid had a hard time doing it by himself and this is so he can change the batteries himself. This is in the remote and the car, which is great if there is small babies around this car. I like that it's got the option for that. The car also has a off switch but remote doesn't. The car when you flip it also has a control for Turing into a race track car by being able to turn the wheels with a nob; in one direction for the wheels in the front. Which he liked a lot because he was like it's like the drift car. (Kinda but he's happy). The car itself isn't bad for its price but definitely will be done in a month for a very rough kid. if it hits a wall, the body shell isn't very strong. But I will give them credit the wheels are grippy. Which is great for all areas. He knows not to purposely have it hit things, but he's a kid. I'll get him another one, just in case other kids he plays with breaks it. I would definitely buy two. one for back up and.buy your own batteries.
