    • It’s oily, but…
It’s a fantastic product. Compared to other retinols on the market, this has only one questionable ingredient that has the potential to be an endocrine disruptor, but more science research is needed on the matter. This is meant to be the last step in your skincare routine without a moisturizer. I tried three different moisturizers after applying this retinol, but they all pilled. I use the retinol oil as my last step, and my skin feels hydrated, so there was no need for me to apply a moisturizer afterwards. I love that this retinol is powerful but also gentle on my skin. I experienced drying the first time I used this, but I also used it three days in a row. I learned afterward that you need to start slow, and eventually my skin barrier worked itself out. I apply this a few hours before bed so it has time to absorb into my skin. I also apply the COSRX Snail Mucin 96 essence before hand. If you have never used retinol, I would suggest starting with their 0.1% cream and slowly building yourself up to this product. I didn’t experience any skin purging like others have. To avoid or lessen skin purging, I’d recommend using a gentle BHA/AHA cleanser the morning before and after your retinol treatment. Adding this simple step cleared up my skin when I first started using retinol. It expedited the purging process. ... show more

I have very dry skin. Cream and serum retinols where drying and peeling my skin to much. This oil base retinol is magic! Feels great on the skin and I have noticed a difference in my kids appearance.

I've been making the leap to Korean skincare and I'm so surprised that I love this retinol oil!! Not because I thought it would be bad, but because every retinol cream I've ever used had irritated my skin to the point where I couldn't use it at all. But this oil absorbs nicely into my skin and is gentle enough that I use it 4x a week, I've even toyed with the idea of using it daily. It definitely moisturizes my face, and worked really well at first, but I suddenly had a huge breakout on my face 2 weeks ago and it doesn’t seem to go away (I have a constant skincare routine) I think this is the only thing I changed in my skincare so I probably won’t order it again, but it definitely works! directions say to keep it cool and maybe in the fridge though, so the breakout could perhaps be because it’s hot? Ive been using this for a few months now. I use it on a skin cycle and it's been awesome. I have sensitive skin and it doesnt break me out and my skin doesnt get red or irritated like most retinols.     • Best Retinol Serum Ever!!!!
This retinol serum is amazing. I have dry and sensitive skin and I'm in my 40s so I use skincare religiously. This serum is so hydrating and leaves my skin silky smooth. It has a oily consistency but not thick. It dries on the skin really nice leaving my skin feeling instantly renewed. Love it!

    • I'll buy this over & over again.
I've been using this for 3 wks and it has made a difference in the texture of my skin thus far. I use it twice a week. This does not irritate my skin but causes my face to be a bit pink (which is expected).
