I've been using this COSRX retinol for about a year now. I love this product. I get compliments on my skin regularly. At a dinner party the other night and someone I didn't know thought I was her age or younger. Nope! It turns out I was 8 years older then she was, much to her surprise. This product has to be refrigerated after opening. It is very thin (not a negative), so I apply it after washing my face and applying the COSRX Peptide Booster. So third step in face process at night. It absorbs quickly and I like that about it as well. I have some retinols that are thicker (for travel, shelf stable) and they take too long to absorb compared to this one. The strength is high so I have found it to be very effective. There is no scent to it and I've had 0 skin reaction issues with this product. I think it has been great at keeping the fine lines at bay, so it is protecting my skins elasticity and helping to keep the moisture in my skin. I will continue to use this product. I always make sure I have an extra one in the frig, so I never run out. I think the price for this product is really good. I have recommended it to several friends and family members who were paying for a high end brand and spending $150.00 for retinol. They no longer use the high priced product and love this one as well. I'm a believer in this product and the COSRX brand. It has yet to disappoint. Pro TiP: if you are new to using a Retinol, I recommend starting out using it every other night and build up to daily. If you have issues, back off how often until you get to the daily stage. Previosuly, I was using COSRX Retinol 0.1 , so I decided to give a try a more concentrated retinol, and it's amazing product. I have been using it for more than a month 3 times per week. I felt my skin a little bit drier the next day, so I put on top some moisturizer. That dry effect was gone after week 2. By now, I just applied the retinol and my skin the next day looks so healthly and beautiful, I think it's helping with some small wrinkles and dark spots on my forehead. It has a oily texture, but I dont feel greasy. I think It's a good price for the concentration and amount. I wish I didn't have to storage it on my fridge though. ... show more

I really love this product and all other products from COSRX. I have extremely dry skin so finding this has really been wonderful. I do recommend only using a small amount as the directions state because when I first used it, I put too much and got adult zits. After I used just a small amount, I saw how hydrated and soft my skin became. I only use this product at night since it is not recommended to use in sunlight. I really like the consistency because it is so easy to spread a small amount around the entire face. At first, I was worried that this was too expensive, but now I know that it is the perfect price because it lasts a long time. On a side note, I really love the packaging. This is the best retinol I've used. I love that it is oil based. It doesn't dry out your skin, and I have truly seen a difference. I am 52 and this has helped fade my fine lines around my eyes. The only retinol I will ever use -- and I've had prescription as well that hasn't worked like this!

Face broke out in the beginning. I'm 63. That never happens anymore, but it did. Would recommend this. Face feels good and starting to smooth out a little. Blemishes are gone now. So will continue to use every night

    • Okay-ish retinol
Have been using it for about 5 months. Haven't seen much change. The texture isn't bad and it barely smells so that's good! Do have in mind that not every product works for everyone. In this case, it didn't work for me but I don't think it's a bad product.
