In many cultures they practice belly binding or wrapping after birth to help heal and support the core and pelvic floor. Alot of these methods are not easy for the modern mother to achieve. This is where a product like this comes in to save the day. It's easy to take on and off independently, had adjustable support. For me I order at 8 MO pregnant and was able to fit it mostly around myself so I'm confident it will be perfect postpartum. What I like most about this design is the separate upper and lower support bands. You can do one or the other or both depending on you needs and comfort. I am 4 weeks post csection and have been wearing this for the majority of my recovery so far. I had been seeing how beneficial it is for recovery so had to give it a shot. It has both its pros and cons but out of the four I ordered this one is my favorite the pros: GREAT support. With the belly band and pelvic band you get a full range of coverage and with the elastic backing plus additional straps on the side it is super easy to fit to your waist and pelvis and change up how tight you want it without taking the entire thing off. The material is very thick and has been durable throughout machine washes and daily wear without any signs of coming apart. the cons: The material does ride up some when you sit down and I have noticed also the bands do cause a bit of protruding on the lower belly below the incision and when it rides up the edge sits on top of the csection line which gets really uncomfortable. The sides do tend to wrinkle up some as well after you walk around but the support is never compromised, it just causes a bit easily fixed discomfort. Even with the cons I would definitely order again considering the other ones I've tried before it!

After reading mixed reviews on this belt that dealt with sizing issue, I decided to order this anyways. On of the reviews states that the belt is too small even with sizing up. I think the sizing is great and adjustable. I am currently still pregnant and based on the previous review I ordered a large. It stretches over my big 8 1/2 month belly and can be cinched tighter after the baby. I think the sizing is appropriate. This also came in two pieces a larger piece for the bottom half of the waist and one for the top as well. It feels comfortable enough to wear and move around and sit in. I will be packing this in my hospital bag to start my tummy conditioning postpartum. Overall I think for the price and quality this is a good buy.

Band comes in 2 pieces and a little confusing to put on. It does has lots of Velcro to help with sizing to fit as needed. Size large is to be fit as expected and true to size. Is machine washable and air dry. Only negative is it doesn’t cover my whole belly well. It does provide good support just doesn’t cover all areas.

This band does a great job to give a new mom some extra support and comfort. There is a lot to this belt or band, whatever you want to call it. It covers a large area of your torso and helps you heal in comfort. It has Velcro straps so you can adjust it to where it is comfortable. It is well made and seems to be good heavy duty quality. Glad to have this postpartum aide.

I had scoured the product page, to see if it contained latex; there was no mention. Fortunately when the item arrived, it had a full list of materials used. Unfortunately, rubber was listed and I have a latex allergy. I can't even try it, just to see. It does look nice. Like a really good amount of support in the right places, the whole thing looks like it will breathe in plenty of areas. If I had seen rubber, latex, I would not have ordered. And it gets three stars because, if the content is not listed online and I can't use it, it may be great, but it's worthless to me so I split the difference
