The installation of this kit does require modification to your factory trim panel. After that modification this kit fit my double DIN radio perfectly. I did run into an issue with the radio jumper installation on my 2006 Dodge Ram. The factory 2006 Dodge Ram radio uses network communication to turn the radio on and does not use an ignition feed circuit. This will cause you problems with aftermarket radio installation. The hard part is finding a dedicated ignition feed circuit to tap into. The cigarette lighter was my initial thought but that circuit energizes by just installing the key into the ignition when the modules wake up and doesn't power down until the modules go to sleep. My solution, there is a large gauge pink/yellow circuit near the white connector by the bulkhead on the drivers side under the dash. This circuit worked perfectly for this install and has power with the key on or in accessory.

The trim piece does fit but requires cutting and sanding which is doesn't tell you until you get it and read the instructions and even then needed a bit more work than they say to fit in place but once it's cut right and installed it looks good!

can’t really talk a lot of Finesse to get in there and get that thing snuggled up. That’s a rough install on the face of that radio.

The dash kit worked but the harness did not work for my 2008 dodge ram 2500 with the infinity sounds system and the dash kit took modifying it was very tight and even after trimming the dash
