This is the first ever skateboard I've bought so I don't really know how it compares to higher priced ones, but it's been working out great. I've had it for about a month and a half and it's very sturdy. At first the wheels were pretty stiff, but they loosen up over time and as you ride it more. It's a great board for the price if you're just learning how to ride like me. I was nervous considering I'm 20 years old and heavier than the average 13 year old, lol, but it's holding up great! I used it all day today and being sixteen i went pretty rough with it, the paint chips really easily so not a board for someone that likes to keep it pristine, the trucks were very loose but with some tightening it was perfect, and the wheels are a little rough, but in all honesty very good for beginners and very sturdy ... show more

I could use this as a super-sized tech deck if I wanted to, make sure you understand measurements when reading. Besides that it's well designed, functioned as expected, wasn't too stable standing on it. Besides that not too bad for a tech deck sized skateboard.

The board is great for some wall art. I even played around on it and found it to be very strong and rolls well. I even ollied on it surprisingly easy. Tiny, maybe a real board for a child. I am a new Skateboarder. I am 5’8” and weigh 157. The board itself could handle my weight, but it’s made of some cheap plywood material or something. Not real wood I don’t think The board chipped on the second day using it The paint on the board comes off easy The wheels are not fast. Faster than other kryptonics, but still not fast. I had to loosen the wheels a little bit The grip tape is good enough as far as I know The trucks are made of metal The trucks are very stiff. I loosened the trucks a little bit to turn better. That being said, these cheap boards are barely held together and the parts aren’t meant to be messed with. The trucks ended up falling off of the board on the fourth day from just riding down the road. I didn’t loosen them too much. These boards are designed for someone that’s 5 if that 5 year old doesn’t know how to do tricks. The moment your start doing tricks this boards weaknesses start showing. Just bite the bullet and get a decent board that’s more expensive. Might be able to find a usable complete board for around $40. Not sure, but never buy krytponic skateboards, even if they have metal trucks. What a waste of money ... show more

Son wanted a skateboard, so I had to get one for my daughter as well. She's small for her age and even though I watched YouTube videos about buying a standard sized board, I decided to go with a smaller version for her. This board is quite small compared to the standard 31" board. I got an adjustment tool and tightened down the trucks and wheels a little to keep it from getting out of control.
