- How To: Depending on the thickness of your hair, apply a quarter size or more of shampoo into your palm. Apply to wet hair, massage into your scalp to create a rich lather. With purple shampoo you want to make sure you apply more product where you see more brass. Let it sit a little bit longer toward the root where hair tends to be less porous and more warm. Then let it run through the ends as you shampoo. Rinse well and follow with conditioner or a hydrating mask.

I did not realize that this product would actually make your hair purple if you are not careful with the amount you use. 😂 My bad! It is a good quality product and seems to make the hair feel and look healthier and soft. Caution about how much you use each washing.

Alright so the only negative aspect about this product is that it leaks and stains the shower/tub. With that being said, overall i adore this shampoo in a sense that it very much dulls brass and leaves a beautiful tone. Be aware that it will leave purple behind in hair. Personally I enjoy the purple strands and overall result.

The conditioner cap was not screwed on tight so it was a leaking mess when I opened the package. There is a shrink wrap around the cap but it does not extend down the bottle to protect and stop the cap from loosing. The product is good and does as advertised. I have naturally blonde hair and there were no issues with my hair turning purple. The first time using the product I left the shampoo on 15 minutes the second time 30 minutes. After the 30 minutes my hair seemed really dry, even after conditioner. I won't leave it on for 30 minutes anymore and next shampoo I'll use a deep conditioner. I'd buy this again.

I do love the smell and the way it makes my hair feel. Just only use this every other wash or every 2 washes (depending how often you wash your hair) because you will be giving purple mermaid vibes.
