Features

  • Saw Guide Compatibility: This saw guide turns your circular saw into a precision edge-guided tool; works best with a regular (side-blade) circular saw, corded or cordless, that has a blade guard or base that allows the sled to clamp securely
  • Woodworking Tools: Universal sled holds guide rail and edge guide, making the circular saw guide portable; not ideal for saws with plastic upper blade guard because guard might interfere with the sled clamping or alignment
  • Versatile Carpenter Tools: Works for left- or right-bladed saws and users; please note, this guide works with worm drive saws and jig saws
  • Accessible Workshop Accessories: Large handle on the edge guide maintains contact with the material;, this saw guide is not ideal for saws with bulky or odd shape guards that prevent a flat fit with the sled plate
  • Premium Kreg Tools: We offer products that help woodworkers close the gap between idea and outcome

  • An incredibly useful, low-cost addition to your circular saw
Style: KMA2400
I bought this item to rip down 4x8 sheets of OSB and plywood. Assembling it is a little tedious, but not difficult. Kreg advertises this item as being compatible with almost every circular saw, and I figured I'd be putting that to the test with my decades-old Craftsman saw, but the fit was pretty good in the end, and the screws that hold the saw to the guide can be adjusted to work in many different positions, which is nice. I was very pleased with the performance of this guide after my first day of use. I used it to cut 8 foot pieces of OSB that were 20 inches wide, and after taking measurements of the width at several different spots I found that the width was consistent to within a sixteenth of an inch. The only way your cuts will wind up being off is if you accidentally rock the handle back and forth a little bit while sliding it along the edge of the board while cutting. If you're not used to cutting with something like this, it can take a few tries to get into a groove of keeping that hand guide perfectly flush against the board you're cutting, so I would suggest making a few practice cuts on a board you don't care about until you get the hang of it. For the low price this is a wonderful item that will make cutting accurately with a circular saw so much easier. My only suggestion for use is that when you're making several cuts in succession, every once in a while you should check on the screws that hold the guide to your saw and make sure they're still tight, as it seems like with a lot of use they have a tendency to come loose a little bit. ... show more

  • How did I live without this tool!
Style: KMA2400
I have been thinking about getting this tool for some time now. After buying it and using it on a project yesterday I am at a loss to know how I did without it. When assembling it the tool seems flimsy, but when all the points are secured, it is very substantial. After adjusting to the proper width, the tool and say stayed exactly where they were placed. ... show more

  • Poor quality
Style: KMA2400
This thing is useless. Not at all the quality of my other Kreg tools. Unfortunately my return window has closed or it would be going back. The saw guide us all plastic and flexes like crazy. Attaching it to a saw is tedious and hard if not impossible to secure. I found myself waiting for it to fall apart mid-cut. Save your money, there are better saw guides out there ... show more

  • Overall a great asset for repeatable straight cuts and cutting plywood Overall a great asset for repeatable straight cuts and cutting plywood
Style: KMA2400
The idea is really good. It’s fairly simple to use and put together. There is also a decent video on YT. The size is perfect to rip cut large plywood pieces. The problem is the plastic piece that aligns with the saw kerf keeps coming off. I think mine is lost. The stay locks that keep the saw in place could use a little upgrade like some type of clamp. The plastic used for the saw platform is fairly sturdy and the ruler portion of the guide is metal and accurate. I am a fairly decent DIYer and do several woodworking per year ... show more

  • Brilliant Tool for Straight and Repeatable Cuts
Style: KMA2400
This is one of those tools that makes you wonder why you did not buy it years ago. It fits almost any circular saw and is incredibly easy to set up. Once you dial in the desired width, you can essentially set it and forget it, making accurate and repeatable cuts with very little effort. The guide works extremely well and takes much of the guesswork out of cutting sheet materials and other large pieces. The results are straight, consistent cuts that look far more professional. This has quickly become one of my favorite workshop tools and, in my opinion, is a must-have accessory for anyone who uses a circular saw regularly. Easy to use and store. Very accurate. ... show more

  • DIYers must have
Style: KMA2400
For years I've been cutting boards and ripping plywood with my circular saw. It's not impossible to get a straight cut free hand but takes a lot of effort and some strategic sanding. This jig makes cutting a perfectly square line a breeze. It easily attaches to circular saws and jigsaws. The measurements are spot on when double checking my work. The value can't be beat when comparing this to a tool designed to rip plywood. Everything seems very sturdy and it holds my saws well while cutting. I almost took a star off because assembly can be a little tedious, and if you aren't paying attention it is possible to not cut in a straight line. I decided to give it five stars because those issues are easily user error ... show more

  • Don't waste your money
Style: KMA2400
If you are cutting small bits it is ok. But anything higher up on the slide and the product is too flimsey. There are better options out there. This is a plastic tool, hense the problem.

  • Works, but cheap plastic junk.
Style: KMA2400
Cheaply made, plastic and flimsy. Cuts fine, im using this to cut lids and bottom boards out of plywood for bee boxes. Works well for cutting large sheets of plywood that are otherwise difficult to handle and cut. I was previously clamping a sraightedge to the sheet and cutting with a circular saw but this is faster with less measuring, unless you bump the zero indicator which is easy to do and moves easily causing all your cuts to be off until you realize it. Also my skilsaw bottom plate is thin enough that this barely secures it, but again it does work. ... show more
