Oh my stars this is amazing!!! We are undergoing a large renovation - doing all the work ourselves- this little gadget has been a life and time saver! A little confusing on the install but then ohhhhh the magic. Great for cutting the 4x8 zip board. Cutting straight lines has never been so easy and is strongly affixed to the circular saw! Amazing! Other than being made of a cheaper plastics all around and square nuts that occasionally fall out and go missing, this is the most amazing product for speedy, straight cutting. Even my 14 yr old finds this easy to use. Will definitely buy again when the time comes.

I've recently used the hell out of this thing, building a set of garage shelves. It's functional and does the job. It's definitely better than some other low-cost methods I tried for longer rip cuts. However, the ease of attaching the saw to the dedicated slot is not great when you have to do it dozens of times. Once set up, the plastic bends and flexes a bit too much; I had to do several recuts because the depth was hard to get dialed in just right (I underset it several times, requiring another pass after resetting it a quarter inch lower). All in all, a good tool, but I would pay more for the same thing in a "deluxe" version, with more rigidity and easier clamping for the saw.

I bought this item to rip down 4x8 sheets of OSB and plywood. Assembling it is a little tedious, but not difficult. Kreg advertises this item as being compatible with almost every circular saw, and I figured I'd be putting that to the test with my decades-old Craftsman saw, but the fit was pretty good in the end, and the screws that hold the saw to the guide can be adjusted to work in many different positions, which is nice. I was very pleased with the performance of this guide after my first day of use. I used it to cut 8 foot pieces of OSB that were 20 inches wide, and after taking measurements of the width at several different spots I found that the width was consistent to within a sixteenth of an inch. The only way your cuts will wind up being off is if you accidentally rock the handle back and forth a little bit while sliding it along the edge of the board while cutting. If you're not used to cutting with something like this, it can take a few tries to get into a groove of keeping that hand guide perfectly flush against the board you're cutting, so I would suggest making a few practice cuts on a board you don't care about until you get the hang of it. For the low price this is a wonderful item that will make cutting accurately with a circular saw so much easier. My only suggestion for use is that when you're making several cuts in succession, every once in a while you should check on the screws that hold the guide to your saw and make sure they're still tight, as it seems like with a lot of use they have a tendency to come loose a little bit.

completely worthless. The clamping screws are not long enough to actually clamp the shoe of my saw. Even if it did "work," it's so flimsy that I'm skeptical it would be able to make a straight cut. Complete garbage that I will 100% be returning.

Where has this been my whole life! This was a game changer for us while we were ripping a long piece of thin plywood down for our 8-foot stair riser. Super easy to use and great results! We ran the guide down the mill side and had a straight, accurate cut. It is lightweight and makes the circular saw easier to manage on long cuts. It was fast and easy to assemble and didn't add any noticeable weight to the saw. Definitely worth the investment!

I had a difficult time attaching it to my circular saw, and it was very unstable and came loose in use. I re-read the instructions over and over, and could not improve the adjustment. After a few unstable cuts it was time to use the circular saw without it, and I dreaded re-attaching it so much I haven't used it since.

This is one of those tools that makes you wonder why you did not buy it years ago. It fits almost any circular saw and is incredibly easy to set up. Once you dial in the desired width, you can essentially set it and forget it, making accurate and repeatable cuts with very little effort. The guide works extremely well and takes much of the guesswork out of cutting sheet materials and other large pieces. The results are straight, consistent cuts that look far more professional. This has quickly become one of my favorite workshop tools and, in my opinion, is a must-have accessory for anyone who uses a circular saw regularly. Easy to use and store. Very accurate.
