  • Love this sink!
Color: Satin Pattern Name: Sink
We recently remodeled and I spent several days picking out the perfect sink. I wasn't impressed with what the big box home improvement stores had available in store but I found this Kraus one on one of their websites. I loved that it came with the strainer basket and the bottom grids. I also loved that it was a thicker quality stainless steel. I didn't expect to find a kitchen sink on Amazon, but I'm glad I checked because it was a much better deal and I was able to get it in 2 days instead of having to wait 2 weeks! ... show more

  • Beautiful and sturdy
Color: Satin Pattern Name: Sink
I wanted this heavier gage and this sink delivers! Our course the folks that fabricated our counters did the initial install. We had a similarly deep 60/40 sink in our last home and loved it - I'm very pleased with this purchase.

  • Such a beautiful sink!
Color: Stainless Steel Pattern Name: Sink
I LOVE this sink! It looks beautiful in our newly remodeled kitchen. The deep bowls easily accommodate my biggest frypan and the stainless steel racks will help prevent scratches. The extra deep strainer is such a nice innovation because it catches all the food scraps and is super easy to empty. I had never heard of this brand before and was a bit nervous about ordering it but for the money, this sink is far superior to the big box store sinks that cost the same. ... show more

  • Rusting after 2 weeks.
Color: Satin Pattern Name: Sink
I researched sinks for weeks before deciding on this unit. I was extremely happy to see how well it was packed, and with all the excellent accessories it came with. We had it installed under our new counter tops, and it looked fantastic... for about a week. Problems started when I left an empty glass in the one sink overnight. When I moved the glass in the morning, there was a dark ring where the glass once sat. I couldn't believe my eyes, I immediately tried cleaning it with soap and water, when that failed I used some stainless steel cleaner we use on our other stainless appliances. When that failed as well, I started researching other cleaning methods online and none of those worked either. I gave up, and accepted the dark ring as being there forever, I mean it wouldn't be easy to change the sink at this point, its under several hundred pounds of countertop now. Today as I was rinsing some dishes I noticed a brown mark, then another, then another.... I rinsed the sink out and gave it a good cleaning and discovered dozens of brown rust marks all over both bowls! I tried cleaning them with the methods mentioned above, but again nothing worked. I feel absolutely defeated, there is no easy way to change this sink out now, and my plumber has highly recommended that we change the sink out as he believes that if its rusting this bad after less than a month of use, then its likely a defective unit that will continue to rust worse in the future. I would like to point out that we have excellent water that was just tested, so its not as though we have super hard water that could be a contributing factor or anything. Amazon has been a bit frustrating to deal with regarding this, so I've taken to dealing with Kraus directly. I'm not sure what the solution will be, but replacing this sink is going to cost me a lot of money now. *** September 10/12 Update *** Dealing with Kraus directly has been an exercise in extreme frustration. They have asked for my invoice from Amazon no less than 5 times now, I've been passed around to 3 different "service executives" all of whom sympathize with my situation, but only want to remedy the situation by sending a cleaner out for us to try, rather than replacing the sink. Fair enough, I'm willing to try cleaning it rather than tearing my kitchen apart. Except the cleaner was sent out over a month ago and never arrived, when I emailed Kraus to let them know that the cleaner hadn't arrived, they advised me to go to the local hardware store and buy it (at my own expense). *** December 11/12 Update *** Well the cleaner finally arrived, and it was able to take the rust off the surface of both bowls. There are other areas of the sink (mostly inside the drains) that the cleaner will not remove the rust from. The sink is scratched very badly all over the place and looks older than the 30 year old sink we were replacing. We are very careful with this sink, but due to its poor quality we cannot keep it looking nice no matter what. I would not buy this sink again, and Kraus customer service leaves MUCH to be desired. *** January 07/13 Update *** The drains have rusted to the point that they are solid brown in color. The metal that they are made of is very difficult to even attempt to clean. The quality of this sink is shockingly bad, and Kraus customer service (while very friendly) gives you the complete run around when you call or email them. I've been passed off to so many different people in their organization that its no wonder none of them can ever find my claim number. They keep sending me sample packages of this cleaner called Bio Clean, in hopes that it it will magically cure the problem but its only a band aid fix. I was told that I wasn't the first person to complain about rust with this model of sink, and that they would replace it if the Bio Clean didn't work, but when that actually happened they just sent out more bio clean. *** February 14/14 Update *** We have completely given up on this sink, we are having to face the fact that its going to need to be replaced which means removing our countertop which is a huge undertaking and at a great cost to us. We clean this sink meticulously and it just always looks dirty due to the rust and discoloration of the metal. What's worse is the terrible scratching which has taken place on the bottom of the larger part of the sink. Saying this sink looks 20 years old would be complimenting it since the 30 year old sink we removed and replaced with this one actually looked better. Kraus has absolutely not stood beside its product and has only continued to send me packets of a product called "Bio Clean" which yes does work to clean the sink and remove the rust, but it only works as a temporary measure and the rust just comes right back, and of course a simple cleaner cannot fix the scratches which seemed to happen way too easily and under regular use. ... show more

  • It is a Stainful Steel Sink
Color: Satin Pattern Name: Sink
The sink is very well packaged and built. Tolerances are accurate and finish is beautiful. However, the headline is not a typo! If you do not wipe this sink out completely dry when you are done you will have a miserable time getting the water line "stain" out. There was a slight low spot next to the drain which let water sit and over night the stain was set! After a couple of days of trying stuff to get it out we were finally able too. The disadvantage to this is that you cannot just walk by the sink and dump a glass of water into it and walk off. You have to have a towel on hand. This also means that you cannot stack or leave dishes in the sink and just rinse them off and leave them over night... you have to take them back out of the sink and wipe the sink out dry, then put the dishes back in carefully so as not to spill any water on the sink. ... show more
