I researched and went around for 3 weeks to search for the perfect sink. I know single basins are in vogue but I would never be able to keep that much surface space clean and sanitary. Plus I hate the look of a dish rack on top of counter or the new ones that lay on top of the sink. I like my few hydros and glasses to be drying inside of a sink unseen. I also love the look of a farmhouse style sink without the apron which my island would have looked hideous with. Anyhow this sink was an inch larger than most standard sinks that fit a 36 inch cabinet as well as 10 inches deep and has the perfect height of a low divide. I was worried too much water would splash over to the 40 side, but it doesn't a few drops here and there is all. I love this sink and was so happy with my choice. From a far people think I have a single basin sink. but I have the beauty of the divide and drying my two or three items that I don't put in the dishwasher. The water does not pool. Food can be easily chased into the drain as opposed to a single basin. its doenst go in super easily but this is the new style compromise of a flat bottom sink. I love this sink and for those that know single is in style and keep second guessing why people love singles as the need the divide to dry a few dishes this sink is it! It has te best of style, functionality and practicality and quality. The only think I would have considered getting instead of this one is the single basin with the drain to one side that has the workstation with a slight slope at the bottom to easily drain water and food(which I am bummed as I am a cook). However, I know I am a clean freak and to not have one area of my sink sanitary at all times would have bugged and the insides corners on workstations are sharp so food would have gotten stuck and harder to clean long term. So I will just find a cutting board to place on top of the 40 percent side and make do. You cant go wrong with the sink and too much water wont splash over to other side so you get best of both. I love my decision after three weeks of no sleep. LOL

This is my second purchase of a Ruvati low divide under Mount 60/40 double bowl 16 gauge stainless steel sink. My first Ruvati sink was for a kitchen remodel in a previous home that I owned and this purchase is for my new home that I bought six months ago. I've decided to do a complete kitchen remodel, and I wouldn't think of using any other sink than the Ruvati. The low divide 60/40 double bowl is so very functional and the 16 gauge stainless steel construction in second to none. The sink bowls and strainers are deep. The sink bowl screens are a very nice addition that protect the sink bowls from being scratched. If you want a luxury kitchen with a well constructed, visually appealing, and a highly functional addition purchase Ruvati.

We were replacing our countertops and wanted a new sink, too. I didn't know anything about sinks but we wanted something nice. There's really no option to purchase a sink other than on-line so reviews are critical. I spent several hours pouring over websites until I found this Ruvati. The unique design is not only very practical but it's also beautiful! I love the shallow divider, and the extra deep bowls. It's very large and able to accommodate your biggest pots and pans with ease. This is an 18 gauge sink so it's heavy but it mounted easily. I know some people complained about water spots but I just wipe mine dry and it looks great! We couldn't view the sink before the install because of the way it was packaged but we couldn't have been more pleased when we finally saw it! Both the countertop guy and the plumber commented on how nice it is! Our new quartz countertops are gorgeous but this Ruvati sink really takes our kitchen to the level. We absolutely recommend!

We have waited about 2 months from installation to make this review so that we could comment on the sink as-delivered and after installation and use. We were in the middle of a kitchen reno when we discovered that the sink that we were just about to order through the countertop designer/seller would not fit our sink cabinet despite his prior assurances to the contrary. Our first option was to buy a different sink from the countertop seller's limited supply of sinks (none of which we wanted or we would have picked one of those previously). Next choice was to buy a sink from the Big Box Store from which we ordered our cabinets, but their designer for our project (of whom we thought very highly) was not able to find a sink that would fit our cabinet, meet our product requirements and be deliverable on short notice. Our absolute last choice was to order through Amazon--not because Amazon did not have selection, speedy delivery and good prices, but simply because we were terrified that if the sink of our choice arrived damaged (a frequent complaint of Amazon reviewers across many sink brands), we would be stuck with no sink, a fight to get a replacement and a kitchen contractor cooling his heels. Because we were out of options we went with "order through Amazon." We read a lot of reviews before selecting the Ruvati 30 inch Low Divide Undermount Tight Radius 50/50 Double Bowl 16 Gauge sink. We crossed our fingers that it would fit in our sink base cabinet, and placed the order. The order arrived promptly. The Ruvati packaging was outstanding--thick styrofoam all around the sink, which itself was in a plastic bag. Good thing about the packing because the delivery company literally dropped the (large, heavy) box off in front of our garage, wrong side down (the box was clearly marked "not" to put that side down) and with a chunk of the very Ruvati substantial box itself torn open. 5 stars for Ruvati packaging, zero stars for whichever carrier got picked to do the delivery. In terms of appearance right out of the box the sink looks really shiny and nice. It even comes with the drain assembly (the plumbing contractor was surprised), strainers and those insert "trays" that you use to keep pots off the sink floor to avoid scratching--some places charge extra for all this, but Ruvati included it in the price. 5 stars for this. The price of $299 was very, very reasonable. 5 stars. We wanted all this: 16 gauge (not 18g) stainless--who knew THAT would be so hard to find in a sink of the size/shape we wanted; Double basins of equal size and as big as possible interior dimensions; Corners of the basins with a more "squared-off" shape rather than the rounded of our prior sink, but not the super-sharp corners of many modern sink basins (too hard to clean); Relatively deep basins, with both the same depth; Low center divider so that we could pretend that we had one nice, large-ish sink when we needed to wash long cookie sheets and other trays, but two sinks when we wanted the soapy stuff on 1 side and the rinsed stuff on the other, and so that water from the faucet wouldn't hit the center divider and splash up (as it does with the older sinks). With the Ruvati we got all this. 5 stars out of the box and as installed. After some use we rated the sink 4 stars for "easy to clean" simply because the shiny stainless tends to dull-up and show watermarks with use, even after wiping it dry. It is disappointing that this happened almost immediately after first use. We really liked that shiny-out of the box look of the sink and we can't get back to that. Not a deal breaker--we would order the sink again even knowing this, but 4 stars instead of 5 for that feature. The real reason that we took off a star from the overall rating is for the design of the strainer feature. To be fair, it is clearly shown and described in the Ruvati info. However, some designs are pretty, but not practical and this is one of those. There is no reason that this beautiful sink cannot be designed with a conventional one piece strainer-plug combo instead of a separate strainer and strainer basket with lid/plug. If you lose the lid to the strainer basket you also lose the ability to plug the sink! Not a great ourcome. We dropped the overall rating to 4 stars as a result. We really like this sink and would probably buy it again knowing this design issue, but we would definitely first look around to see if another manufacturer made a very similar sink with an integrated strainer/plug. However, if you live in a house with young children or others who might walk off with or misplace the strainer lid, think hard about whether this feature works for you. We might try to buy a few extra baskets AND lids, just to be safe. The reason that we gave the sink 4 stars instead of 5 overall

Beautiful sink! I bought this 16 guage stainless sink to go with my new quartzite island countertop. I wanted to have the lower center divide, have a 40/60 divide (you get 3 options 50/50, 60/40, and 40/60, )match my other stainless appliances, have a 33" sink, have a 16 guage sink (the lower the number the stronger it is), lots of soundproofing, straight sides with rounded corners for easier cleaning, and matching sink grids. I had read a lot of reviews that had various complaints about different sinks-- that it arriving damaged, the bottom was so flat it wouldn't drain, and it spotted easily, etc. I read the discription of this sink and it sounded like what I was looking for. I then went to the Ruvati sight and throughly read the description and this model checked off all my list. I am not disappointed. It arrived extremely well packaged with molded styrofoam with the sink in its own cloth bag, the grids in individual boxes, the sink strainers in their own boxes and the sink clips for installation included in their own box. It was in perfect condition and I loved the stainless color. It was installed with no problems. It is a beautiful sink and very functional. I am very happy with my purchase. Very reasonably priced too.

The best sink we have ever had. We have had stainless sinks for years but always 50/50. This sink is amazing in size and function. I purchased this sink just days prior to installing because the American Standard sink we had purchased had too high of a rim, we top mounted. We had already purchased a Ruvati bar sink and were impressed with its quality. Very skeptical about this purchase and the different features but after using for 4 months we love it. We like having the extra room that a squared sink provides, the low divider wall is perfect, 60/40 is the only way to go, and the racks are so nice when you are preparing meat. A full-size cookie sheet fits in the larger side leaving the small side clear. Some people complain about keeping the stains off of stainless but this is no different from other stainless sinks if anything it is easier to maintain. We would not go back to a traditional sink. Our kitchen is in full use year-round from processing wild game, fish, to canning 100's of quarts fresh fruits, vegetables, jams, and jellies. Our use is heavy compared to most homes and yet it cleans up to show kitchen standards. We would not hesitate to recommend Ruvati sinks.

While I ordered it in January, the sink wasn't installed until last month. I've used it now for about 45 days. The sink comes beautifully packaged with all the needed parts. Love that I didn't have to go searching and buying the grids. We installed the garbage disposal on the bigger sink (left) and the Ruvati basket drain on the smaller sink (right). Overall I like the sink. The low divide makes it easy to wash big pans. It's quiet, not clangy. The sink is a bit deeper than my last one, keep in mind if you have back issues. It feels very modern. The sink is well made. I love that the smaller sink fits my dish drying rack, so newly washed dishes can be put there to air dry. Nothing is left sitting on the counter. The only complaint is the low divide holds water on the top edge (which is easy to wipe down to prevent spotting). I highly recommend this sink for a renovation or a new build install.
