Just finished assembly and we really like the Kozyard Alexander 10' x 12'. The design and manufacturing were very good. FedEx delivered the boxes. All parts were there (and a few spares), and in good shape - packaging was very good. Some tips that may help you assemble: 1) Watch YouTube videos on assembly 2) Read instructions carefully, have patience and don't get in a hurry. Other reviews mentioned the work required to assemble - and they were correct - but the final product is what counts. One person can do 90% of assembly if two aren't available. 3) Double sided tape is included to mount brackets Z, Z1 and Z2 to the roof panels. This helped some but I eventually used a little clear silicone sealant on the tabs - worked well to hold them in place. 4) Very well could be me, but I had problems installing the roof side panels V3, V4, V5 and V6 - seemed about an inch too wide. However I assembled on the ground and installed as one piece satisfactorily. I used small wire ties in small pre-drilled holes - after drilling a couple more. Delivered almost too quickly. The poor Fed Ex guy had to deliver after a snow storm. Never trust the groundhog! All the pieces were there, very little damage (some slight dents) during shipping, so well protected. Everything is labeled. Directions are pretty good. Read all the good tips in the reviews and the video out on YouTube. Looks like the manufacturer has made some updates based on customer feedback which I appreciate. I bought an Allen wrench set from Amazon because the ones supplied are small and hurt my hands and I have carpal tunnel. I'm a 50 ish year old single woman who has done a few projects before, and I did 98% of this on my own in about 3 weekends. Had one friend help me put up the last cross bar to get the structure standing. Holes lined up surprisingly well. Little bit of maneuvering with some pieces. Some went in like butter....so nice! I bought this gazebo based on the reviews and I made the right choice! I'm now sitting outside, with my dog, in the rain, dry as can be, and watching my birds! So happy with this purchase. We shopped for the sturdiest gazebo we could find since we're on a windy hilltop, and We Found it! This gazebo is incredibly well-engineered. It shipped very fast and was well-packed in 5 boxes, numbered 1 to 5 with the appropriate parts in every box. I would just tell you to be aware that there are a gzillion parts to it! Just take your time. All the parts lined up well. They also seem to have thought of everything: the mosquito and privacy curtains seem well-designed and strong, there's a rain gutter as part of the crown molding, and there's a mosquito netting between the two roofs. It fastens firmly to our decking. We are truly knocked out to have this on our property. I believe we've added considerable value to our home - and I know where I'll be spending the summer... :) ... show more

After several summers of battling wind and rain tearing up my canvas top gazebo I finally decided to invest in a hard top and wish I’d have done it sooner! My 23 year old and I put it together in a couple of afternoons and we are so far very happy! We don’t have it anchored down on my cement patio and it’s so far withstood a couple of crazy Iowa windstorms. I thought maybe the roof panels would be heavier so I hope it withstands the snow this summer like everyone says! We are behind excited to use it this summer! ... show more

    • Quality Product - Easy Setup

Arrived by truck and fork lift. Minor damage to large box. Found one corner pillar with a 2" dent, probably from fork lift fork. But not too bad. This Kozyyard Alexander 12'x16' gazebo with solid and screen side curtains is great! Easy to setup. Just follow instructions sheet. I used a power driver because there are many screws! All parts were well marked and fit correctly. I do wish that there would have been a couple extra fasteners of each different size because some had manufacturing errors, like bolts with no threads or with gobs of metal attached disrupting usefulness. There were probably like 4 fasteners like this out of the hundreds but without extras becomes a small problem. And three years later now I find the side curtains are not very resistant to fading but the screens are holding up well! This gazebo has held up to WI heavy snows and -40° temps very well! All in all this is a quality product and I suggest it for shoppers. ... show more
