  • It's a tarp ")
I used bungee cords to fashion a car cover. I have to tweek it a bit on the sides. We had a HUGE wind storm a couple of days ago and it stayed on. I have to say though that if I hadn't put duct tape over the grommets to cover the bungee ends and to keep the metal from scratching the car I think they would have ripped out. I can't give it 5 stars because I noticed a couple of the grommets that do NOT have anything attached to them have 'fraying' and pulling away of the tarp started around them new out of the package. All I can say it's a typical tarp for the money spent. The seller was very fast with shipping. ... show more

  • Decent tarp for the money
If you’re paying less than $15 for a tarp, you have to know it’s not top of the line. But if you need an 8x15 tarp there aren’t a lot of options and the more expensive ones aren’t actually much better. These tarps last (stay waterproof) about 9-10 months out in the elements (I use it to cover a boat); after that it degrades enough that it’s just kind of a woven nylon vs a plastic-y tarp. I haven’t had any problems with the grommets going or holes/rips, even in high winds, and I’ve bought (and used) three so far, so that’s a win as far as I’m concerned. ... show more

  • Budget Tarp for Use as Emergency WInter Car Cover.
I bought a couple of these to use as covers for my cars during our infrequent snows. I secure them to the bodies with magnets. They are the right size and of suitable quality for my compact cars. Don't confuse the grade of these tarps with the super high quality, heavy expensive ones. These are light-weight tarps for infrequent light use and they are priced accordingly. I am pleased with using these as winter car covers and I would definitely buy them again for that purpose. ... show more

  • Buy something more durable
This tarp ripped on the very first use. All we were doing was using it to paint chairs. We laid the tarp on the grass and then put the chair on it for paint. Every bit of wind that would get under the tarp would cause it to rip right where the legs of the chairs were on it. I would recommend getting a real tarp. ... show more

  • Good, sturdy tarp
My husband and I are t-ball coaches and we use this tarp as shade for the kids in the dugout. We zip tie it to the fence and the tarp provides a cool area for 15 kids and 6 coaches. The tarp has held up well through several uses, with the only exception of the area around some of the grommets (this was my fault from zip tying it too strongly). It's sturdy and a good thickness. It has served its purpose and I'd purchase it again. ... show more

  • Don't underestimate the tarp
I thought I overbought for home construction, but they saved the day because we experienced an unexpected leak, and I just happened to have a tarp on the floor. You can really never over buy when you're doing construction or live in an ancient home that's on its last leg.

  • Served their purpose
Not surprised at how flimsy they are for the price, but they did the job of hiding our stuff so we could hold a graduation reception in our garage. The 15 ft size was great as we got by with 3 instead of 4. I don't expect much durability in wind or campground use, but they served their purpose for a good price. ... show more

  • Junk grommets will tear
The most important part of any tarp is the points in which it is secured, the grommets, I put maybe 2-4 pounds of pressure with some soft bungee straps and every one of the grommets began to tear, making the tarp vulnerable to winds and rain. This is not a product I would recommend end
