Nice heavy duty tarp. Has held up well for 6 months now. For a tarp this size, it must be secured well, because it catches a lot of air. If you're not familiar with using large tarps, there are a few things to keep in mind: 1. If it keeps moisture out, it holds moisture in. So if you cover a camper for example, it will keep driving rain and sun off of it, which prevents leaking and fading, but it also stays shaded and damp (because the sun doesn't dry it out). So the outside of the camper tends to mildew). 2. If you want air circulating under the tarp, it also allows heavy wind to grab the tarp, which can destroy it. Ideally having a thin space between the object that is covered with the tarp pulled tight and strapped securely over the entire width and length (not just by the holes) will allow a little air, but no rain in. 3. Nothing will hold up to standing water. I live in FL, so I don't deal with snow, but with snow, but in direct sunlight, I've never had a tarp last more than a couple years. ... show more

My husband and I were impressed with the quality. We figured a new tarp might last 6 months to a year on our boat at our new home. It already survived a couple crazy wind storms. Very thick and high quality in my opinion for the price.

I bought this in the fall, so it shouldn't be stretched out yet. I just wanted to pump off some of the water because it was getting pretty deep, came back an hour later and I lost 18" of water. The pool water was coming right through the cover and I didn't even know it. They say it's water proof, I say that's very questionable. If you are looking for a waterproof pool cover, go with something thicker, it will be worth it in the end. Now I have to dump the gross pond water on top into the pool to open it! ... show more

This is a super duper tarp. Used it to cover a pickup truck. It is almost completely waterproof. There is now a swimming pool in the truck bed that is doing duty as a polliwog incubation area because the frogs liked it so much. Very little to no leakage of their habitat for months. It is hard to move around because it is so big and the tarp is so thick. Having a buddy to help will make moving the tarp much easier. ... show more
