I should have taken the time to look at the Q&A section and I would have known that this wouldn't have worked for my Kohler K3397 San Raphael toilet. This fill valve lowest setting is too high for the toilet. But it will work on my other toilets when they may need their fill valves replaced. This was simple and quick to install, but the locking mechanism is a little loose I accidentally released it while screwing on the mounting nut, I also had to hand tighten I couple of times before it stopped dripping. ... show more

Very easy install, had my child do the installation and it went smoothly. I installed this same unit 6 years ago and it started have an issue flushing. Now it's back to new!

Works as intended. This unit is advertised as "Quiet Fill" however the Blue Top Fluid master that it replaces was actually nearly silent. This unit produces a hiss through the water line as its filling. There was nothing actually wrong with the 2 year old fluid master and the ring that holds the units fluid level setting slipped off. Also the fluid master has a valve to control the fill rate of the bowl, this unit does not. Overall i think the Fluid master is a better product even though its design is considered older. ... show more

It was cheap, easy enough to adjust and install, and it was fairly short compared to the fluid master it replaced. I think that in an attempt to follow the plumbing code i kept installeing the fluid master part too high, causing an issue where the tank lid pushed down on the valve, making it go off with squealing and screeching noises at times after a flush. It’s not particularly quiet in operation. But it’s way less quiet than the insane banshee wails the old valve was giving off at one in the morning. The real test will be if it stays working.
