Just gotta say, these newer type flappers are great. They have a snap on end that goes on the tube side that was pretty easy to snap on, much easier then wiggling the rubber off those end pieces that stick up. I had to remove it once to adjust the water, so it just snapped off just as easily. To adjust flush water amount, that clear bulb like thing, just pull up on it and turn it to adjust it to the number, higher means it flushes more water. I set it to 9, which my toto toilet supposed to use 1.3 gallons i think at setting 6, but i found that i prefer it to flush more water down to insure there are no clogs. So far so good, but when i first installed at 6 not only was the water level lower but seemed to flush much less water. I adjusted my korky fill valve, which is highly recommend, super easy to adjust fill level. So water was only filling up half way but after adjusting the fill valve toilet works great as it always has and this flapper seems much more heavier duty since it uses more plastic then the rubber which with hard water tends to deform after time and you get the middle of the night leaks or ghost flushes lol. So do i recommend this, yes it worked great and it seems universal for most modern toilets that have a 3" opening. ... show more

Had to replace mine and this was so much better than what I had before. Only annoying part is I had to YouTube how to change the water because it’s super confusing from the packaging. I still think there should be a way easier way

Presets are listed on the back of the box, once adjusted the install is a breeze. The arms are adjustable to your needed width and the clamps click into place easily. Replaced a rotting rubber stopper, worth every penny!

These flappers are mostly plastic and plastic really doesn't hold up well when being exposed to water 24/7. The flapper that was in my on-suite toilet ended up having a cracked hinge and was no longer sealing properly. I realized this when I'd flush and the tank would just keep filling up without stopping. Opted for the Amazon purchase as it was much cheaper than my local hardware store and it wasn't a "need it now" purchase since I have two other toilets that work just fine. Fits inside of water tank for toilet. However, the chain needs to be longer. There are 3 adjustments I can switch to, to connect the chain, but the chain is still short.
