**KORIMEFA Freestyle BMX Bike - My Kid's New Favorite!** I purchased the **18in Basic** in **Black** for my son, and he absolutely loves this bike. As a parent, I really appreciate how **easy it was to put together**; it was mostly pre-assembled, and the tools were even included. The quality is solid, too. The welds look great, and the whole frame feels really durable, which is important for a BMX that's going to take a few bumps. We got the 18-inch model, which has the rear brake, and my son has been able to stop smoothly with no problem. It was also cool that they included the **pegs** in the package, though we decided to upgrade to steel ones since he's already trying a lot of jumps. This has been the perfect bike to get him into freestyle riding without needing to buy something super high-end right away. I really like how easy this was to put together. The quality of the of the paint job and the welds on the frame were well done! For those who do not know, the 18-inch model is a single brake Freestyle BMX bike which means it brakes from the rear and free spins on the front wheel. It's not too expensive to add an additional brake and caliper if you desire, but it depends on what kind of tricks are going to be done on the bike. We added pegs to front and the back. We decided to use steel pegs though you can get aluminum pegs for light riders who only want to stand on the pegs and not do too many load-intensive tricks. Make sure to properly setup the seat height as that can affect the ease of the ride and doing tricks. ... show more

I think it's the perfect first bike for kids . Its not too fancy there's nothing extra that isn't necessary and that's great for a first bike . I like the light blue , it's bright but not too bright . Enough to stand out . The really good thing is the adjustable seat so it can grow with a new rider
