It’s cute, comfortable, and flattering while still being appropriate for a professional or more modest setting. The only real downside is that it runs smaller and snugger than expected. Sizing up is a requirement if you’re hoping for a look similar to the product photos in the listing. I typically wear between a medium and a large. I ordered this in the size large and it’s still quite snug. I can wear it, but it’s so tight that you can see the outlines of my undergarments. I’ll have to wear all seamless options underneath a slip to mask them. I’d highly suggest ordering at least a full size up. Beyond the sizing issue, this dress is great. I love the coloring and classic styling options available with the cut and length. I wish I would have ordered an additional size up, but I’ll be able to make this size work. ... show more

This dress is made from soft, stretchy, and thick material. I’m 5’8” and the dress is a little below my knees. The belt is not sued in, and it is your choice of wearing it or not. Even though it is thick, you probably should wear nude colored pantry because it shines through.

This sweater dress is nice. It's a soft, stretchy ribbed knit and it's a good weight. The color is exactly as pictured, it's a nice dusty blue. I didn't really like the cut of it on me. The top is loose and comfortable, but from the upper waist down, it's bodycon. It looks a bit odd to me, like it should be a roomy fit all over with the slouchy turtle neck and bunchy sleeves, but it's fitted to my lower belly, butt, and down. I even ordered a size up for a comfortable fit, but it's just the cut. I'm 5'9, 170lbs, 36ddd, size 10 or large, but I ordered an extra large. If you're wanting to show off your curves, I think you'll be happy with it. If you're going for a more slouchy, comfy look, I wouldn't recommend it. ... show more

This Caracilia Women's Turtleneck Sweater Dress has everything to like. I love this dress. It hugs every curve whether you want it to or not. I call this a shapewear dress for that very reason. But I just don't even care. This dress has so many other things that are so right. The color is beautiful. I love the color. It's saturated with the color that I don't see it fading. It does say to hand wash, I think though it will be fine on delicate cycle and cold water. I will lay it flat to dry. I wasn't excited about a turtleneck top, when I ordered this, but when trying it on, I was pleasantly surprised to find it is more of a small cowl neck. I do like that the belt on this is not attached. I can choose to wear it or not. Or even to wear a different belt with this dress. Having options is always a good way to go. Not trying to rush the seasons here, but I look forward to cooler temperatures in order to wear this dress. It will be perfect for late fall into winter season. The material is soft against the skin. It hits a couple inches below the knee and would look so cute with boots. Highly recommend. May have to go back for another color! ... show more

This dress will be versatile! It's somehow elegant and relaxed at the same time! It'll be warm in cooler weather, and it's such an easy thing to throw on in a hurry. It is form fitting without being tight or clingy, which is super flattering! You'll need to wear your very smoothest panty under here. I tried it with an almost-smooth pair and the dress - even in black - seemed to put a spotlight on the lines. SIZING: I'm usually a 6 or an 8 at J.Crew, putting me between sizes on this chart. In that situation I usually size up, so I ordered a medium. I regret it! With the stretch of the fabric and the roominess of the shoulders, I could definitely have been happy with a small. So I say: If you're between sizes, consider sizing down! ABOUT THE BELT: I like that the belt is separate so that you can you have the freedom to put it exactly where your true waist is. It's made of the same material as the dress, but with how fitted the dress already is, I didn't find that it really cinched me in much more. It didn't significantly change the silhouette of the dress. Plus I'm never sure if the way I tie those things adds bulk or not. So I might just wear a different belt with it. ... show more

This beautiful turtleneck sweater dress is an amazing value at about $30. I ordered the indigo option and it is fairly true to the color shown, just slightly brighter. I typically wear a U.S. womens size 4 or S and the size S is a good fit, slightly body hugging but flattering and generously enough sized that it should also be a good fit for a typical size 6. The viscose-nylon-polyester blend fabric is super soft. The wash care in the listing indicates hand wash and line dray, although there was no care tag in the dress I received. I hand wash almost nothing and was pleased that the dress came out great with no apparent shrinkage or pilling after a cool water machine wash on delicate, tumbling on low in the dryer for a few minutes to fluff, and draping in half over the horizontal part of a plastic tube hanger to dry completely. It wasn't obvious to me in the photos and I was also pleased to find that the belt is not stitched on, so the dress can be worn with or without it. This dress makes me eager for cooler fall temperatures to arrive! ... show more
