If I could give it 4.5 I would.
First, this is my experience using an in-line tuner, so please read my thoughts with that in mind. I really like the tuner. It's sturdy and the action on the foot switch is as expected. I also like the choices I have to pick the particular tuner setting I want with regard to in sensitivity, view, etc. My only criticism is that if the tuner is plugged in using power (i.e., not using the battery), the setting on the tuner (in my case I prefer the 3rd setting) doesn't stay programmed after powering down. So each time I power up, to begin practicing/playing, I have to reset the tuner to the setting I prefer (btw, the setting switch is not in a easily reachable spot). Not the end of the world, I know, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. If I could give it 4.5 I would.

Nice pedal, would recommend!
I'm new to playing bass and I wanted something that would help me tune up quickly. I tried a clip on and didn't like the lag, albeit a short one between the time I plucked the string and the time I saw the note on the read out. The Korg is super quick to register and has 4 different ways of showing how in or out of tune you are. The housing is robust and the design is sleek. I would definitely recommend this tuner pedal if you're looking for an accurate, quick tune up at a fair price.

A+ tuner
I play in a band with 6 people. It's impossible to get them to stop playing to tune. I had a nice tuner but I think it was blown by a defective power supply. This one works, works when the electric guitar just won't stop fiddling, and doesn't mind being daisy chained into my pedal board. It's easy to see and my guitar is in tune. I love it.

I love it.
I love it. My first tuner was a KORG rack mount in 1997. It was fun and easy to use, so I am a little loyal. Anyway, this pedal works great. It is super quick. The double arrows are very helpful. The center is not forgiving, in a good way. I considered two other pedals. Glad I got this.

Best tuner I’ve used
I’m a traveling guitar tech for a band that uses extended range guitars and this thing actually shows those low sharp notes. I run it out of my case on battery power and into our guitars backstage and it’s never failed. When not on the road it lives on my personal pedal board and I couldn’t be happier A+

Survived a massive power spike
This was subjected to a power spike not like any civilian or casual player will probably ever experience. At first the thing was unresponsive, then after a few minutes came back to life. I trust this like no other tuner. Nothing should have survived that, yet this bounced right back. Also, it's accurate; sturdy; cool-looking and easy to read. It's been a couple weeks, that thing survived and still works great.

Nice tuner for stage work.
Great tuner for on stage use. Easy to activate on the fly, and nice that it mutes any noise until re-engaged. Makes it handy to check tuning in between songs or even during if you hear something out. I’m a pedal steel guitar player and tuner is accurate enough for stage work and easy to see and read on floor by volume pedal. Heavy duty construction, no hum or problems.

Not a silent switch
Beautiful piece of equipment but definitely not a silent switch. The Boss TU3 is silent. When I click the Korg from tuning to no tuning, I hear the click in the amp, and through the delay or reverb. No such problem with Boss. I’ll stick with what I have. Too bad, I like the tuning presentations better on this Korg. But I can’t use it on stage or especially recording..
