  • Easy to use, effective
Style: MA-2 Color: Blue
My 10 year old son uses this device when he plays the piano or cello. He seems to understand how to use it and does not ask me for help, so that suggests that the product is easy enough to use. The volume is sufficient to be heard over the sound of the instrument.

  • It's an effective affordable metronome with a round bottom
Style: MA-2 Color: Blue
It's a good metronome, and gives me my first metronome that's not my phone or a synthisizer in years. So glad to be off my phone. A detraction is that the bottom is rounded for some reason. There is a kick stand on the back, but its not easy to have this metronome stay in place, without turning it on its side, because the bottom is round -- ie like resting on a music stand ... show more

  • Flimsy
Style: MA-2 Color: Blue
Just received this product and if it is bumped or turned it resets completely. Just placing it on the piano and it turns itself off and resets.

  • Functional and loud metronome
Style: MA-2 Color: Blue
Excellent metronome for the price. Pros: Low price. Has various time signatures Tap first click can sound different(important feature for new music students) Small and fits easily in a guitar box storage space or pocket even. Loud at full volume and can hear easily over acoustic guitar and electric guitar with 10W speaker on full volume. It has a kick stand Con: The little piezo electric speaker can be annoying. If you keep it too close to electric guitar; the guitar pickups can get noisy from metronome. ... show more

  • I wish I had tried it during the return window
Style: MA-2 Color: Red & Black
Works just fine especially for the price point. But what were they thinking with that shrill, piercing sound that I was expecting to be a soft digital click? At least you are able to turn it down a bit but then it kind of defeats the purpose if you can't hear it. Should have opened and tried it while I was still able to return it. At least I'm only out 20 bucks. ... show more

  • Ahhh, my ears! Korg can and should do better
Style: MA-2 Color: Blue
It can be easy to forget that actual humans develop and approve these products. To the Korg engineers responsible for the high-pitched, ear-splitting tone this metronome emits: I can forgive you. But you have to do better! The world is already struggling; why are you making it worse? Is this who you want to be? This is particularly disappointing coming from you, Korg. You’re titans in the synthesizer world, makers of the best-selling synthesizers of ALL TIME. You have access to literally any sound in the world. Just walk down the hall to your synth division and ask for literally any other sound. A clown horn, a fart noise, or pretty much any sound from the Three Stooges arsenal - any of these would be preferable. But I’d like to introduce you to the humble Click. For those engineers at Korg not familiar, it sounds pretty much like it’s pronounced. For reference, go to YouTube and find a video of any mechanical metronome. That’s the sound you’re going for. Heck, it’s probably already in your sounds library. “But,” you protest, “maybe not everyone wants a Click. Maybe some people like the ice-pick-in-the-brain tone.” There’s a simple fix - include both sounds! I’m sure someone in your synth department can advise on including a button (or simple toggle switch) which allows users to switch between sounds. For that matter, why limit it to just two? A Moe and Curly head-boink could be exactly what’s been missing in the metronome game. While Korg works on getting it together, for those looking for a basic metronome with a good ol’ fashioned click (completely unsuitable for CIA torture purposes), I recommend the Seiko Quartz Metronome Model SQ50V. (And no, no one has paid me to write this. Just trying to save you the trouble I’ve had to go through.) ... show more

  • Metronomes: A Love-Hate Relationship
Style: MA-2 Color: Red & Black
The device itself is very simple and intuitive. Volume is perfect! Loud enough for even the loudest of instruments, and can go down low enough to not bother everyone in the same room when you're practicing. I do wish it came with some sort of case to store it in, but that's just me being picky.
