  • Best Cereal Containers
We have used these containers for more than 3 years, and never once has our cereal gone stale! We use them very often, usually multiple times a week, and they have proven to be very durable. Our toddler has even dropped them on a couple of occasions and still no damage. They are excellent for cereal storage or snack mix and provide very easy pouring. The one side of the container is indented to help you have a better grip when pouring. Another huge advantage is the size, it will hold more than a full standard box of cereal. It will easily hold the larger box of cereal and in some cases, depending on the cereal, it will hold the family size box. The tabs that hold the top of the container in place are durable and have held up very well with time, and are very secure when closed properly. The flip top where the cereal pours doesn't stay up on one of them, after all the repeated use of 3 years but, that is to be expected with time. Plus it isn't a big deal to hold it open with your other hand while pouring. It still closes and seals well keeping the cereal fresh. We bought them the first time in 2017 and have bought more them of a couple of times since. We absolutely love these containers and cannot recommend them enough! Do yourself a favor and buy these. ... show more

  • These are the best
I bought a set of these years ago. When I recently needed to replace a couple of old Tupperware ones (the seals always crack), I bought these again. Here's the deal...the seals don't wear out. They've lasted through kids, drops, washings and the old ones still work like new. They are easy to open and close...they seal really well (they have gasket rings)...and they even look nice. The sizes are perfect for boxes of cereal. But they're not just for cereal! I've branched out to other dry goods that need grain moth protection. Whatever you put in there will stay fresh, dry, and free of intruders. The latches that seal them closed will not fail. The handhold makes sense... it's comfortable. Sorry Tupperware...these are much much better. ... show more

  • I love, love love these cereal containers
I love, love love these cereal containers! First and foremost, they are air tight. They keep my cereal fresh and makes everything look so much neater. If I buy the family size box I can put more than 3/4 into this. The smaller cereal boxes will fully fit. I keep it up on our cabinet and it is easy for my kids to let me know which ones they want that day. There are well made, much thicker than most other containers and they really are air tight. You will love them! I purchased these because of a pantry moth infestation and after it had all gotten under control I don't dare keep anything except plastic containers. ... show more

  • Overall a very nice container
These were easy to wash, and I like how tightly sealed they are. If you typically purchase family size cereals (eg. We currently buy the 22.9 oz boxes of Reese's Puffs and 21 oz. Cheerios) these will only work if you pour yourself a bowl of cereal first. They would definitely work for standard size cereals. I took away a star because the top lids are difficult to open, which I had no problem with...until my toddler decided to use her problem solving skills. To my surprise and slight disappointment, the circular spout popped right open and spilled a few cups worth of cereal after said toddler knocked it off of the counter top. For a lid that is occasionally a pain to pry open, it seemed counterintuitive that the cap would burst open from a three foot drop. That being said, there was no damage to the container whatsoever from the fall, and I appreciated the sturdiness all the more. Overall I like these containers a lot. I will probably try a larger size next time, and now I know to still keep them out of reach of mischievous young children. ... show more

  • A great storage solution for cereals and more!
These containers are very well-made. The end opposite the circular opening for pouring cereal is narrower, to make it easier to grip. The lid is attached by snapping down flanges on the two sides and two ends separately, so it's easy to open and close when you want to add cereal. I'm using mine for a large order (6 pounds) of popcorn kernels, and am keeping them in the fridge, because I know it will take me a long time to use the popcorn and I want to keep it fresh. Later on I may buy more of these for storing my favorite cereals. If you buy big bags of potato chips, etc., and have the discipline not to eat all the chips in a couple of days, the Biokips containers would be a good storage solution for these kinds of snack foods. They are also a good size for Matzos. As with any new plastic container, wash before using it. ... show more

  • Good container that fits well in cabinets
I do like the way the top is fastened to the container. It may seem a little cumbersome at first but it's way better than the old fashioned way of trying to match up the groove on the lid to the top of the container. I also like the plastic. It's much sturdier and smooth to the touch. I bought this to replace an old cereal container which was always difficult to get into the cabinet. This pair of containers holds much more than the single bulky container I used to have. I can put the two side by side in the space that the old container took up. Also, easy to clean. ... show more

  • Giant sized plastic containers for 2 of your super big cereal boxes.
I bought these containers to store my dry cereal.. I searched for the right sized containers, but I made a mistake. I read the reviews and customers were saying these containers were the right size for cereal, but when I poured my box of Corn Chex in one of them, they only filled the container up to 1/3. Leaving all that empty air space. They take up a lot of room in my small cabinets too. They are wider than the cardboard cereal box I wanted to get rid of. I don't have room for 2 of them either. I can't return them as I have washed them and put cereal In one, plus it is too much trouble to wrap them up and carry them to a post office. Another loss for me. They are nice containers though for someone who has a very large volume of produce to store. I think you could pour a ten (10) pound bag of sugar in one of them. ... show more
