These cutting boards were exactly what I needed for a DIY gift project. I used them to hot stamp/brand last names and paired each with matching coasters I customized the same way. The wood is great quality, nice and heavy, with beautiful, unique grain patterns on each board. I sealed them with regular board oil, and they turned out so cute! I decided to switch from my plastic cutting boards to wood, but many places charge upwards of $200 for a good acacia board (Williams Sonoma). I like that two arrived as I can use one for meat and the other for veggies. I’ve had for several months now and they have held up well. I use food grade mineral oil on them to keep them from become too dry. I hand wash them. Of course there are cut marks on them (another reason I didn’t want really expensive ones. Don’t know how common this is, but I felt it was acceptable given the amount of cooking I do. I would purchase them again. Im always fighting with my husband for the counting board because he love do bbq but he always lets my board every where. So I decided to give him his own board so he can put it wherever he wants. And it result as a perfect board. Nice size. Very good quality and fells smooth to touch.
