It holds my aquatic friends, but it is very flexible. You can squeeze it and displace water. But it was an inexpensive solution. It certainly won’t shatter like glass!

Bought this for my daughter's Betta fish. It's a good size. She has rocks and a fake plant in hers and her Betta has tons of room. We've cleaned it out 5 times already and the residue doesn't stain into it like most plastic things do. It's your pretty basic plastic bowl. It could crack if your rough but so far so good. I think it could be more sturdy but it's worth the price and she's happy, her fish is happy, so it did the job! ... show more

Overpriced plastic junk. If you're gonna spend nearly $20 on a fish tank, save it for a real glass bowl or at least a 3-5 gallon tank. This is absolutely trash.

    • Nice, durable bowl...probably not good for fish
It was pretty small, and you can't put a lid on it. It is good quality, pretty durable, but also I just want to mention that it probably shouldn't be used for fish. I thought it would be okay because when I was younger, I used to have Beta fish in a small container like this. But when I was about to purchase this for my son's goldfish, I kept reading online that fish really need a tank with a filter. I didn't listen because I thought it didn't matter. But honestly, I would recommend just getting a tank with a filter. We had to clean this out weekly (and probably should have more) because it would start to stink very bad. Not really the fault of the bowl, but just the fact that there was no filter or anything like that. The fish didn't seem to mind....until they were accidentally overfed by a visitor and died. This would probably be better for beta fish than gold fish. It does look nice! ... show more
