I'm going to give this 5 stars because I love my tank. I purchased a 3.5 gallon about 20 years ago and debated on purchasing this one for a long time because I only needed to replace the light on my 3.5. We couldn't find that bulb so we finally decided to upgrade. When I purchased the tank something happened and my package wasnt shipped. I contacted the seller who was right on it. I also contacted Amazon and it took for me to go through my credit card company to get the contact number to customer service. I tried to go through the app and couldn't get to speak with anyone. It took a lot more effort on my part to find out how to contact Amazon. Hind sight I would probably use google but where is it in the app? The bot in the app said it could connect me with customer service but it never mentioned it again. The seller was very responsive during their process. Anyway, I love my tank, I've read the reviews on the filtration system and we have no complaints on this end. Thanks to the seller for being professional. ... show more

This is a great aquarium tank. The curvature makes items larger than they are which is great for viewing. The light is really too dim to grow plants but there are other lights that can be used. You won't be able to use the cover, though. The pump is great, when it is working. I like the waterfall effect. Eventually, if you clean it regularly, the cord to the pump will stop working as the flexing back and forth will wear it out. The filters designed for this are not really suitable. However, I've found that using two (2) filters works a lot better. I have had it for almost a year and it suits my shrimps and snails rather well. ... show more

Surprisingly for a plastic tank this tank is wonderful. Very durable. The filter works great-for a Beta at least. Filled it on christmas and have yet to have to clean it and its almost June. Clear water and happy fish. Also great space saver but still lots of water with cylinder style.

The filter is built into the cover and is placed so that any about the top3-4" of water are moving. There is no cover over the intake for the water so it sucks up fish with the water. The only positive is the shape of the aquarium

    • Nice Tank, But Disappointing Filter and Customer Support

I recently purchased this Koller 3-Gallon Aquarium, and while I love the overall design and size, I’ve encountered some frustrating issues that have left me feeling a bit disappointed. Tank Design and Quality: The aquarium itself is great! It’s the perfect size for small fish or aquatic plants, and it looks stylish in any room. The build quality is solid, and the glass (plastic) is clear, offering a beautiful view of the water and inhabitants. The setup was easy, and I had it up and running in no time, which was a definite plus. Water Filter Issue: However, just one month after setting it up, the included water filter stopped working. I followed all the instructions for cleaning and maintenance, so it wasn’t due to neglect. It’s very frustrating when you invest in a product that’s supposed to provide a reliable, long-term solution, and the filter fails so quickly. I expected better performance from a brand that positions itself as offering quality. Customer Support: The biggest letdown, though, has been the lack of sales support. I reached out to the company for assistance, hoping to either fix or replace the faulty filter, but unfortunately, I received no response. After several attempts to contact them, it’s been clear that the customer service is non-existent, which is incredibly disappointing. A working filter is essential for maintaining a healthy aquarium, and without proper support, the overall experience has been less than ideal. Overall: While I’m still enjoying the tank itself, the experience has been tarnished by the premature failure of the filter and the lack of customer support. If you’re thinking about buying this aquarium, I’d recommend considering the possibility of needing to replace the filter sooner than expected, and be prepared for poor support if you encounter any issues.
