Really good light filtering
These shades filter sun and heat while keeping the room light in the daytime. Just what I needed in my office/studio. The one challenge is putting up the brackets. They are a bit awkward to attach to window frames. One of my frames is about 1/3 of an inch too short which made hanging them a pain in the XXX. I figured out a way to do it and they are lovely. One caution. The 'chain' is not a metal chain; it's plastic. If it breaks, it will be horrible to fix.
