Purchasing an RV is usually a major investment that we want to last for a long time. For an RV that lives outside, the elements are a constant battle. The sun deteriorates the roofing materials which eventually can allow water to intrude unless you keep it inspected and well maintained. Part of maintaining the roof is occasionally applying new lap sealant around item on the roof. This Kohree sealant is a self-leveling sealant that is bright white in color. It seems to work pretty well but I don't feel like it levels as well as the Dicor brand I usually use. The price of this 2 pack is about the same (or possibly slightly more) than my usual Dicor product so there really is no value to it for me. The quality seems acceptable but I will continue using my usual brand. I will give this product 4 stars for quality and value.

This sealant is more like a silicone than the oem lap sealant. It levels nicely and seals beautifully. The only problem is it’s impossible to remove once it’s dried on the rubber membrane on the roof of your rv. You’re probably asking why would you want to remove it. I applied it for a temporary leak issue I had that caused the wood underneath to rot away. When I was ready to replace the wood, I had to remove all the old sealant and it’s a bitch! Only apply it on top of your old sealant to prevent this hardship.

This RV Roof Sealant by Kohree is on-par with any other lap sealant that I’ve used over the years for RV maintenance. It comes out of the tube smoothly. It self-levels, and can be easily worked-in or smoothed-out by rubbing with a wet latex glove. The maintenance that I did was preventive. So I can’t honestly say how well it worked to stop a leak, or to finish the installation of a new rooftop fixture. For annual inspection/maintenance work like I did, I do recommend this product.
