The build quality appears to be good & functional. Provides a decent amount of shade. The side shade is a plus & both screens fit well. The negatives are that it did not provide an installation paper or explanation of the installation parts. Most of it is self-explanatory but came with installation parts that may need some explanation. It came with a metal L shape hook with mounting screws & caps (see pic). I have no desire to drill into my walls & unsure how you would use it. Additionally, comes with (7) bungee cords, (5) stakes, (2) S hooks, (2) slide adapters & (1) adhesive hook. I will opt to us my metal stakes vs the plastic ones provided. Simply slide the corded side of the main screen into the channel of the awning, it only has 3 grommets to attach bungee cords at the bottom. Side screen, I placed a slide adapter & S hook on the awning channel & then attached the adhesive hook on the bar that extends out from the wall. Reinforced the adhesive hook with 3 zip ties. This did not impede the closing of my awning but any lower it possibly could. This makes it easy for me to connect the grommets from the screen. Since it comes with only one adhesive hook this only works for one side. Recommend they put 2 adhesive hooks in the kit. The kit provides (5) bungee cords to stake both screens & (2) bungee cords I guess as an alternative to attach side screen. Rather you use bungee cords or S hook/adhesive adapter you would need to get on the roof or use a ladder to connect side screen on the RV wall side. Update: Adhesive hook failed & solved it with a heavy duty suction cup you can get from Amazon. See updated pictures.

I recently installed this shade screen system on my RV awning and overall, I’m quite pleased with the results. The build quality appears to be good and functional, and the materials feel durable—especially the ripstop nylon at the top and bottom, which should help prevent tearing in high-tension areas. The main shade provides a decent amount of sun protection while still allowing for some breeze, which is ideal. The side shade is a nice bonus, and both the main and side screens fit well once everything is set up. Installation was mostly self-explanatory, although no instruction manual was included, which could be confusing for some. The kit comes with a metal L-shaped hook, mounting screws, caps, 7 bungee cords, 5 stakes, 2 S hooks, 2 slide adapters, and 1 adhesive hook—but there's no explanation for how each part is intended to be used. I had to experiment a bit and improvise in some areas. For the main screen, I simply slid the corded edge into the channel of the awning and used the three grommets at the bottom to attach bungee cords to stakes. Pretty straightforward. The side screen setup was a bit trickier. I used a slide adapter and S hook in the awning channel, then placed the adhesive hook on the support arm that extends from the RV. I reinforced the adhesive hook with zip ties, which worked well and didn’t interfere with the awning’s ability to close—though I could see it becoming an issue if placed lower. The screen easily clips into place using the grommets. Unfortunately, only one adhesive hook was included, which limits the ability to do this on both sides. I recommend the manufacturer include two adhesive hooks in future kits. Also, I opted to use my own metal stakes instead of the plastic ones provided for better stability. It would also be nice if it had a few other eyelets along the bottom of the main part. Removal of the shade was just as simple as installation, which I really appreciated. It’s also worth noting that to properly install the side screen on the wall side of the RV, you’ll need to get on the roof or use a ladder. All in all, this is a well-designed and effective shade solution for RVs, with solid materials and a thoughtful design, even if the lack of instructions. With a couple of small tweaks, this would easily be a 5-star product.

Super easy to install and fits right into the track of the awning, they gave us other hardware and hooks I'm not really sure what they're for but they have nothing to do with the installation. We installed it last week and have had some higher winds, so far so great!

It claims 90%UV and privacy but these screens provide 0% privacy and maybe 5% UV blocking. Would definitely not spend the money for this product if you were hoping for privacy and shade from the sun. It is getting real old making a purchase on Amazon and the product not being at all what is advertised...
