My old toilet-tank lid cracked. My initial fix was to just crazy glue it together, but of course there was that unseemly crack that spidered its way across the lid. It was ugly. I asked my wife if I could color the crack gold like Kintsugi pottery. She said no. So, I went to amazon to find a new lid, one that was the right shape, the right color (white) and would do a particular job, namely, cover my toilet tank. I just needed a replacement for the top of the tank and I couldn’t find it in any of the hardware stores so thankfully Amazon had it and saved me buying an entire new toilet over one piece!

    • Lid not level, rocks
Very well packaged. It is the right size and fits but is not level under neath so it rocks diagonally when touched. There is a hole in the underside of the lid which might be for an adjuster which was not in the box. I will need to add material under neath to level the lid.

UPDATE 3/22/17 I thought you'd all want to hear my experience after a few months of ownership. I continue to be impressed by the luscious whites and the statuesque design of this marvel of modern pottery. Every time I take a piss in my toilet I look at this and pat myself on the shoulder for making the purchase. This does have the negative side effect of getting urine all over the toilet surface but what's good for the president is good for my toilet. I continue to recommend this product. I would go as far as to say that if you don't think you need this you should consider taking a hammer to your existing toilet tank cover just to GET ONE! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is by far the best product i've bought on Amazon. It is wonderfully white and perfectly shaped to fit amazingly well atop the existing toilet tank. It's smooth curves and luscious depth of reflection is something to behold. Ok, so I exagerate.
