Product was easy to Install. the bolt and screw mounting system seems better than the replacement one I used before which had a different type of screw and bolt set up. Its not a heavy seat but It seems sturdy and should hold up to daily use. Ive only had it a day so far but is working great. I think its better to stick with the original manufacturer for replacement parts for things like this. I was tired of holding the toilet seat to close so it didn't slam. This makes it a lot easier to close without having my hands on the seat. Also, it's easy to pop off to clean. The only issue I had was that the first one I bought the color did not match my toilet, so I had to exchange it for one that did. The installation takes less than 5 minutes. A phillips screwdriver, unscrew the old one, screw in the new one. This lid has a soft close feature that works just fine. It was a little different than the old model in that when opening it, there is no soft open.
