Great Looking Shoe, Perfect Fit. I can say without a doubt, that this is the best looking pair of shoes I have ever worn. I got more complements from this pair of shoes the first time I wore them, than from every other pair of shoes I have ever owned, combined. Pros: Very good looking shoe. Fit exactly as expected for a wide width. Seem very well made. Very reasonably priced. Great overall value. Cons: Very stiff at first. I was once just a paper-pushing cubicle peon. One day I decided enough was enough and I ordered these shoes. The first day I put these babies on, I was promoted to Vice President and my salary jumped 400%. Now, when I set foot outside my gold-clad doors of my penthouse office, I have to carry a stick just to keep the women from throwing themselves at me. My only complaint is I wish these shoes came with a waterproof coating because of all the juices that get flowing around these shiny foot demons. ... show more

Love these shoes. It is rare for me to go a day without getting several compliments on how these shoes look. In fact, it's common for me to get several positive comments each time I wear them. I like to wear the cognac colored shoes with light grey or navy pants and the look is fantastic. For what it's worth, I don't wear these shoes every day, so they have stayed in fairly good looking condition for probably longer than if I wore them every single day. The light color in the soles really helps to 'pop' the overall appearance of these shoes. They also have a nice shine that completes the look when wearing a suit. These shoes are comfortable... I have a standing desk and I can wear these shoes an entire day without a problem. They also seem to be wearing well and have broken in well over time. I don't think it took an excessive amount of time to break them in, nor do I think they broke in overnight. I would say it was a standard break-in period. In closing, I definitely would recommend these shoes... in fact, I just ordered these same shoes in black as well, so now I have them in both cognac and black. I love these shoes. They are by far the best looking, most comfortable, longest-lasting shoes at this price range on Amazon. They do require some breaking in. Fresh out of the box, the opening is very rigid, and you need to loosen the shoelaces quite a bit to somehow jam your foot in. I also recommend flexing the area around the heel and sides of the opening for a few minutes before putting the shoe on; the rigidity of the material caused pretty serious blisters for me the first time; second time I did this and it's been super comfy from day one. These shoes looked really good for 6 solid months of wear 3-4 days per week. The leather wears well; even with noticible wear and tear, the leather aged nicely. Scrapes, nicks, and dings don't look awful; they just add character, like a baseball glove. I replaced the shoelaces after 3-4 months. Around the same time, the rubber heel started peeling back, but nothing that can't be fixed with some superglue. Around month 7, I started noticing the support was starting to reach its critical point, which is when I decided to replace them. For the price point, replacing shoes every 6-8 months is a very good deal. ... show more

This is a beautiful shoe, it fits perfect. However the bottom seem to be made of poor quality rubber. I've had the shoe for less than 6 months, I only wear it to work once in a while. Now I see that the rubber that's on the heel started lifting at the corner, just this morning piece of the rubber just broke off. See pictures. ... show more

This is a good, solid shoe for me. I wear dress shoes for occasions rather than as every day attire. These were comfortable enough for an important event that I never thought about the “new dress shoes on” feeling that I sometimes get. I now own all colors of these shoes, love them! They seem to take on the contour of your foot and you can feel that in the sole. Unlike others that take what seems like years of pain to break in, these seem to break in within a couple hours for me at least. Buy the right color shoe polish and brush for each color shoe you own for long lasting new look. If you use the wrong polish color you will ruin the stock color finish... The deep color of these look killer with a grey suit. You can pull this look off with the right shirt and tie! ... show more
