I wanted a multifunctional piece of furniture for a space that is used for a few different purposes. This futon fit the bill for what I was looking for. Let’s talk about the cons first-came with missing pieces, instructions were kind of hard to follow at times, definitely a two person job. This is a heavy piece of furniture, it does slide nicely on wood floors, but it can be a pain when converting back to a sofa. I left the railing sitting against a table while waiting for the rollers to be replaced and noticed some paint transferring. For the money spent I’m a bit disappointed with the paint as well as the wood is a bit soft and easily damaged, the round bits for covering the screw holes are all varying degrees in shape and size so only a few actually fit and stay in the holes, most are too small and fall out. The pros-customer service was grade A, super helpful and had the part to me quickly-had tracking number within minutes, what I couldn’t figure out from the generic printout I was able to visually see in their YouTube video assembly. This is a great comfy futon. I like being able to change the positions for comfort. Overall this is a comfortable and fairly easy build, if you have all the parts.

This futon is both beautiful and comfortable for both sitting and sleeping. It is easy to move from sitting to reclining to sleeping position. It took me hours to put together. No two pieces of wood were attached to another. There is a video to watch for assembly. No written or verbal instructions. The end product is worth it. I suggest having a helper, certainly necessary to move the heavy boxes it comes in, then to help with assembly.

Straight out of the box, I noticed that the first piece to assemble had a bad Crack all the way through one of the main mattress supports! It appears it HAD been noticed at the manufacturer and had been GLUED back together rather than the board being replaced. Due to a lack of customer support on Saturday when I had the time to assemble this, I proceeded with the assembly, trying to put it in a position where it would see the least stress. My next step led me to a number of four letter words and having to unscrew pre-assembled brackets and reinstall them just to get the thing to go together because holes were drilled out of alignment and couldn't just be screwed in "finger tight" as described and shown because the parts didn't align flush and square due to the misaligned holes. As such this took WAY longer and was WAY more frustrating than I feel an item of this price point should be. My $100 squat machine and $150 rower were WAY more simple! Nonetheless, it is a beautiful piece of furniture and the mattress seems to be if a great quality.

Saw This On Amazon-Liked The Look-Bought It Right Away. This Comes From The Company-Not Amazon. Not Even 24 Hours After Ordering They Dropped The Price By $25 Or So. Contacted Customer Service-Emailed Back They Wouldn't Refund Any Difference. Seriously Considered Canceling On Principal. But Read The Return Policy-You Have To Pay To Return. Additionally Reading All The Way Through-If You Do Return After Opening There Are Fees Associated With The Fact You Opened The Box & If It Isn't Packed Correctly, Etc. I Mention This Due To A Manufacturers Defect-I Noticed After Full Assembly-About 2 Days Later. The Frame Arrived A Day Earlier Than The Mattress-Logically It Seems They should Have ensured Packages Arrived at Same Time-Wasn't Able To Use It-Since I Had Removed My Old One To Assemble New One. Not A Mechanical Person, Nor Great At Following Directions-I Was Able To Assemble The Frame By Myself-They Recommend Two People-I Recommend Two, TOO! Nice Drawers Go Underneath.The Frame Looks Very Nice In My Room. The Mattress Arrived The Next Evening-Comes Rolled Up In Plastic-Cut It open & It Puffs Up. Mattress Is Comfortable. The Damage Is On The Inside Of The Arm Where The Screw Missed It Mark & Cracked The Wood. But With The Stringent Return-Customer Policies I'll Live With It. Overall: Happy With The Futon/Couch Look, Feel, Etc. But The Company Gets No Further Business From Me. 1.) They Did A Price Drop In Less Than 24 Hours-But Wouldn't Honor The Difference. 2.) Customer Pays Return Fees, Possible Restocking Fees & Fees Associated With Not Repackaging Correctly 3.) Damaged Product Afraid To attempt Any Type Of Return/Replacement Due To Stringent Customer Service Policies. CAVEAT EMPTOR-Buyer Beware-I Did Complain To Amazon.

The furniture is solid and sturdy. There is damage to the inside of a few pieces of wood but it’s all covered by the mattress. Which so far is nice and comfy. I’ve not used it as a bed yet but I really enjoy the recline position of it. I am a journeyman mechanic but I’m small and injured. Was still able to put it together myself, but did struggle with putting the bed on the frame. I laid it out into a bed and then put the mattress on it then unrolled it from the wrapping. That way I didn’t have to try and wrestle the mattress around fully expanded. I read other reviews saying that was the worst part. This small adjustment made it very simple to get the mattress on the frame. Then I just put it in a seated position and sat down on it to crease the mattress. The drawers are not deep, but I do have 4 blankets and a sheet set in them, so it’s perfect for what I needed them for. Overall, so far, I’d definitely say this was worth the money. I live in a tiny home so measurements were a big thing and this fit perfectly for the space I have!. I did have issues with shipping but I live in the middle of nowhere and there was a snow storm so I’m not gonna complain about that. But only leaving 4 stars because none of the damage could’ve been caused during shipping, as the packaging was superb, so that means they sent it to me damaged and that kinda pisses me off. But not so much I wouldn’t order from them again.
