My 6 yr old loves them so far. Appearance-wise they look very cool and he says they’re comfortable. I wanted a pair of lighter weight shoes for his ninja exercise classes and these are definitely light. We’ll see how the traction works out. My complaint about these shoes is that they are “lace up” which isn’t displayed in any of the pictures. I thought they were slip-on but they require tying laces so for littles, it’s an added challenge.

These shows are so comfortable, I get compliments every time I wear them. I love the style the color and they are super comfortable. They do runs smidge big I think, I am a 8 in woman’s and I got a 7 in these and they are slightly big. I would buy these again any day no doubt!

After reading the reviews, I purchased 3 pairs. 2 black, 1 khaki. I am not a fan of neutral colored shoes, but the picture when I purchased them drew me to the product line. While the khaki have a better fit, there are several different shades of the color, the laces on this color are not nearly as good of quality as the black (they are not at all close to being smooth like the picture) and the colors of khaki are far more yellow than pictured (the toe section would be closest to accurate). The khaki on the bottom is far more long lasting then the black. I normally wear a women's size 6w...I ordered "Big Kid" 6 hoping to wear a thicker sock. They are the correct length for their size, a bit narrower then other shoes in this range and the toe "top" is a bit more constricting then most other athletic shoes that I have purchased/worn in this "Big Kid"/youth size. They are not tie free. They are not as breathable as one would think. However, they offer many adjustments to make them fit the person wearing them, they actually have an arch support in the removable insoles to allow for natural air drying of the shoes and insoles, they are lightweight and the shoes (not the insoles) wash well in washing machines that are not top loading agitator type. They have lasted longer than my other brand named shoes....just wished they breathed as well and had fewer shades of khaki.
