- 42x Optical Zoom Camera: Reach subjects other cameras cannot with a 24mm wide angle lens covering wide group shots to tight close-ups of birds in flight, athletes across a stadium, and stage performers
- 20MP BSI CMOS Sensor: Get richer color and finer detail in difficult light; backside-illuminated design gathers light more efficiently, from golden-hour landscapes to indoor gatherings and overcast adventures
- Optical Image Stabilization: Shoot handheld at full 42x without blur; built-in OIS compensates for hand movement, the difference between a usable keeper and a soft frame when photographing wildlife or sports
- 1080p Full HD Video: Record travel adventures, school events, and family memories in clear detail; simple controls and scene modes suit beginners, while panorama and custom modes give enthusiasts room to grow
- Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery: Shoot all day on roughly 240 shots per charge; works with Class 10 SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards up to 512GB for thousands of photos, and transfers over USB for sharing and archiving
Description
When distance stands between you and the perfect shot, the Kodak PIXPRO AZ425 closes the gap with 42x optical zoom and a 20MP BSI CMOS sensor built for serious photography enthusiasts. Backside illumination technology improves light-gathering efficiency for richer colors, finer detail, and better performance in challenging conditions—from golden-hour landscapes to indoor gatherings to overcast outdoor adventures. Optical image stabilization keeps every frame sharp at any zoom level, ensuring crisp results even at maximum reach without a tripod. Full 1080p HD video captures smooth travel clips, school events, and family adventures with clear, broadcast-quality detail. The included rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers approximately 240 shots per charge, and the camera accepts Class 10 SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory cards up to 512GB. Compact enough for day bags and capable enough for demanding subjects, the AZ425 is the bridge camera upgrade serious photographers have been looking for.

Perfect Travel Camera for Beginners
Color: Red
The size is perfect for me when I’m on the go. I ordered this camera because I had a long trip in the mountains, and it worked out really well. The menu and options are easy to navigate, making it a great choice for beginners who want to start exploring photography. I did experience a small issue with my credit card payment at first, but once that was sorted out, everything went smoothly. The delivery updates were accurate and on time. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Clear pictures
Color: White
Takes good clear pictures and is easy to use...however, you cannot take quick pictures. I found waiting to take a second picture annoying. The other downside for me, no view finder and the screen doesn't pivot so sun glare is a big problem. So, I decided to look for something different. Slow shutter and no view finder, but does take clear pictures.

Amazing Entry Level Camera
Color: White
I recently got into photography and wanted an entry-level camera, and this one has exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is as good as, if not better than, my iPhone 15 Pro, and the zoom capabilities are far superior. It offers a wide range of features and manual controls, making it a great choice for beginners looking to learn and experiment. The camera is an excellent bridge option, with impressive performance that I think deserves more recognition. I guess the camera snobs might not like it but I highly recommend it for beginners. Check out these pictures from around NYC.

Nothin’ Bit Trouble
Color: Red
First off let me say that I think it’s a nifty little camera, I don’t know because the first one I had to send back and by the time the second one came my husband and I both had the flu. The first camera was missing parts. I only had two days until Christmas so I ordered another camera. I allowed the receiver of the gift to open it and lo and behold. They had an extra part. So when the second camera came, I insisted the receiver, take the entire camera. Then, the camera would not work. So I allowed the receiver to keep the first camera since he had that missing part, and sent the second nonworking camera back. I indicated at that time that I wanted the money sent back to my original point of purchase. Imagine my surprise when I went to go buy dog food I look and I see that they’ve taken balance from a gift card. A gift card? I do not have a gift card. So I go and look and it turns out they misappropriated my money back to a gift card, so now I don’t have money for groceries. And Amazon said that they didn’t have a way to help me. Next Christmas I’m not going through missing parts, misappropriated, funds, and people doing the exact opposite of what they tell me they’re going to do.

Nice but not effective for me
Color: Red
Advertised features for the price was very attractive. However, photo quality was not great and a delay taking a photo to actually capturing it was also a contributor to the unsatisfactory image. Perhaps user error, perhaps not. There was also no lens cap. Not sure if this was to be included. Purchased a memory card separately .
