Product Features: Specifications: The Bolt-on Axle has a hex nut on both sides. It is common on fixed gear bikes or e-ebikes. The included hitch fits the Bolt-on Axle with maximum 12mm diameter. The quick release axle is the most common type of axle. It has a lever that clamps the axle in place with an acorn nut on the opposite end. Most bikes have a standard dropout. They won't all look like this, but the key point to look for is a flat area around the axle where the Hitch can lay flush against the frame. Hooded dropouts have a protruding metal hood that extends around the top of the dropout. They can prevent the Hitch from lying flush against the frame. In this case, you might need an adapter.(sold seperately)

  • Nice Buggy
Color: Gray Size: Up to 100 lbs Set name: Trailer
Great doggie trailer. It's a well built sturdy buggy with a nice solid floor to support my 95 pound dog. I put down a washable no skid throw rug on the floor for comfort and support for slippery dog feet. There is a nice strong adjustable safety leash attached to the floor. The wheels pop off easily so you can fold it down flat for storage or transport. I have mine attached to my electric bike and my dog loves it. In fact she doesn't want to get back out when we get home. The coupler that attaches to the bolt on my bike wheel where the buggy attaches to was too small and did not fit my bike, but I called the manufacturer of my bike and they sent me me one. It maneuvers excellent behind my bike and I barely know it's back there. I think the quality, comfort, safety, are probably the same if no better than your high end products, and it seems to be a fair price that is affordable. Depending on your dog, you might need to do a little training to get your dog accustomed to riding in a moving crate. ... show more

  • Very sturdy and large enough for tall and heavy dogs
Color: Gray Size: Up to 100 lbs Set name: Trailer & Stroller
I and my dog love this trailer! It’s perfect for larger dogs. I had another trailer for my 2 pugs and after they sadly passed away I got a rescue dog who is substantially bigger and had to upgrade to a larger trailer. This thing is large enough for a pretty big dog or two. My dog is medium large and weighs about 85 lbs and this fits him wonderfully. Smaller trailers would wobble badly and make me almost tip over on my bike but this one is very stable with over large wheels that make the ride smooth. The tires are also easily removable for changing tubes. I popped a tube on accident it literally took me less than 10 minutes to remove the tire, replace the tube and put it back on. It has reflective lights which are easy to attach. The attachable and detachable front wheel makes it easy to disconnect from my bike and roll him around if necessary. He’s not maimed or crippled so he can easily get in, but even dogs with hip displasia or other walking or climbing issues would have no problem getting in and out. I love that the top opens up so he can stick his head out also, and the front and back doors have zippers so you can allow the wind through. Great investment for my and my dogs bike riding needs. I have several eBikes of different makes and this is easy to attach to any of them. The trailer folds easily to lean against a wall or push under a shelf in the garage. It’s very sturdy and well made. I expect this to last for many years of average use. Highly recommend for any dogs up to large in size. ... show more

  • Works well as a stroller, not tried it as a trailer.
Color: Blue Size: Up to 100 lbs Set name: Trailer & Stroller
I like the size of the stroller. We have a total of four dogs. I have a senior service dog (part German Shepherd and Pitbull) mix. On long walks, the service dog can go in and rest. The smallest dog prefers to ride instead of walk, and the two of them can lie together in the stroller. The other two dogs are from the same litter. One has a heart murmur, so the dogs alternate during the walk, which is riding or walking, and his sister will wear out if it is too hot for her. If the large dog is walking, then I can put in the stroller all three little dogs. We added the child fan in the stroller to help keep the dogs more comfortable, along with the doggyhut mattress and two blankets. In addition to the child fan, I added two more safety belts to accommodate three dogs. The white blanket is faux fur that all the pets enjoy. I also added industrial strength Velcro inside the Doggyhut to secure the fan. Our area is dark in places and unless the car lights hit the reflectors, we are invisible. There are other items, I have added for safety. The first one is lights. I have two small lights on the ends of the zipper and one attached to the elastic when we are walking at night. In addition to the lights in the front, I installed wheel lights on each large tire to go on at night time. I also have a small light in the back of the stroller. This way cars can see us at night. Our large dog was sitting in the back of the stroller and it tipped backwards. So, I had the bike shop install a kick stand for the back of it. It is very sturdy. The last item added to the Doggyhut stroller was a doggy doo bucket. It is a medium size and hangs outside the stroller and it is attached to the frame. I carry a thermos of cold water during our evening walks when it is hot. The silicone cup has a lid and it goes under the blanket at the front on the stroller as well as the thermos. I love this stroller for the pets. Many people have commented how much they like the stroller and the customizing it to make the pets more comfortable. ... show more

  • Game changer for senior pup quality of life!!!
Color: Lime Green Size: Up to 100 lbs Set name: Trailer & Stroller
I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but I cannot sufficiently express my gratitude for this Doggyhut pet trailer and the quality of life it brought to my sweet girl in her final 6-months with me. She was a ~62lb senior pup fighting lymphoma who started having potty urgency and mobility issues last fall. Combine this with condo living (i.e. a 3-4 minute walk + elevator ride to get outside for potty breaks) and a 2yr old doodle who needed to be able to walk at a decent pace - this trailer was the answer to all my struggles. My Penny Lane was able to step in and out of the trailer on her own, happily let me push her outside quickly so she could make it out to potty, would walk a bit on her own to sniff, and then get back in to ride when she got tired. I put one of her beds in it to keep her stable and add cushion since the bottom isn’t cushioned at all. She absolutely loved it! Pushing her in this was incredibly smooth and easy (though uphill was a workout), and the turning radius was great! The brakes on the wheels worked great. The various zipper openings were great to accommodate different weather needs and let her see out without feeling closed in. Towards the end, I had to help her get in and out of it more, but I would not have been able to get her outside to potty without this. This trailer allowed me to continue bringing Penny Lane on walks so she could still enjoy time outside with me and her puppy sister, even when her mobility was an issue. For anyone with a medium/large senior pup, this is a game changer!! Seriously - Get it! I was hesitant buying something like this without seeing it, but it was 1000% worth the money. I wholeheartedly recommend it. I used it all the way until her last day with me…what I would give to be able to take her for another stroll ❤️ ... show more

  • Great product, well built
Color: Lime Green Size: Up to 100 lbs Set name: Trailer
Read the reviews and this instilled confidence in buying the product. Once received I was impressed by the product as a whole and the build quality. Tested this on first camping Trip to carry three little dogs ranging from 13 lbs,15 and 19 lbs. A really great product and tows well behind my Puckipuppy E-Bike with no issues. It also does fold up nicely and is compact enough to easily store and haul in car or truck while traveling. I would buy again and recommend. ... show more

  • Really works well
Color: Lime Green Size: Up to 100 lbs Set name: Trailer
For me, this is a very intuitive (dog) trailer to use. No instructions necessary (except to review any torque values) to assemble. And once assembled it is very easy to pack/unpack - pop off the wheel chair wheels, undo a crossbar, fold down. I bought the XL and it packs down nicely easily fitting in the back of a compact pickup (shortbed) with 2 bikes. It would probably fit in our compact car with the dog (no reaosn we would do that though). The construction of the frame looks good, it has everything I would expect to support a heavy load (our dog). The wheels, again being similar to wheelchair ones, spin on two cartridge bearings, which should handle loads very well and spin very smoothly for a long time. The safety latches work great and are robust. The fabric canopy/cover feels very thick and durable. The bottom seems to work ok with out 80lb dog. I am wondering if I should put in some additional support and vibration damping. My only gripe so far? I minor one. When the trailer is folded up, I can't find a good place to put the 2 flag pole pieces. ... show more

  • Best Investment Ever!
Color: Lime Green Size: Up to 100 lbs Set name: Trailer & Stroller
Our senior pitbull, Willie, was diagnosed with heart disease and chronic bronchitis a few months ago and we were told to keep his walks short and to not let him over exert himself. I had already been considering a stroller/wagon because he’s 13 and has some slight arthritis and is just slow now too so his new diagnosis made me decide to do it. I did I lot of research, read a million articles and reviews, watched YouTube videos and talked to friends, family and our online community about their experiences and I ultimately decided on this Doggyhut Premium XL. I’m soooooo happy with my decision! It’s exactly what I wanted and more! Willie is an American Pit Bull Terrier and he weighs 79lbs. He’s very thick and stocky and he fits perfectly in the XL, with room to spare for a small water bowl and/or his leash or anything small. I also purchased the pad that fits on the bottom that is sold separately on Amazon and I recommend it, especially if you have a big dog and/or an old dog. The bottom of the stroller/trailer is just the fabric so he definitely needed a pad to lay on for support. But if you have a bed that fits the measurements of the stroller, that would work well too! We just didn’t have a bed that we wanted to use in it. The pad works perfectly though and has a removable cover than can be washed (we’ve already washed it once). The stroller actually handles better than I thought it would! I can push him through grass, gravel, dirt paths, rocky hiking trails, etc, and I’m 5’3”, 110lbs. I wanted one specifically with 3 wheels, instead of 4, because I read they handle way better and so far it’s been amazing! I love that the handle bar is adjustable so both me and his Dad (who is 6’) can both push it comfortably. Willie absolutely loves his stroller and jumps in to lay down when he’s tired and sometimes refuses to get out! Lol. We took our time to get him used to it because we wanted him to really love it. For the first couple days I just put it in the backyard with the brakes on and taught him a “place” command for him to get inside and lay down. He had no problem getting in or out by himself. I just let him lounge in it and fed him treats. And on the 3rd day I had his Dad come out and push it slowly finally while I walked up front and fed him treats. (he can have issues with things moving while he’s on them so I wanted to take it slow). This all worked out great and he really really loves his stroller! Like I said, there are brakes so you can lock it in place when stopped and when loading and unloading. I saw some people had issues with it tipping slightly when the dog got in or out and we thought we might have to get add a kickstand to it but we haven’t experienced that problem at all. The front has both a screen the zippers up for air flow and also a thicker clear plastic cover that you can zipper up if it’s cold or raining. The top zips and unzips and the back does as well. There are also 2 pockets on the back flap to store water bottles, leashes, small bowls, treats, etc and there is another small pocket on the top for your keys, cellphone, leash, doggy bags, treats etc. I added a cup holder that I got off Amazon to the handle bar and I added a baby stroller fan that I got off Amazon to the inside for him when it’s hot. The fan also doubles as an led light and works great at night as a headlight for the stroller or just as a light to see inside for things. I wish I could add more videos but Amazon only allows one. I wanted to give a thorough review after having it for a couple months because I read every review on here and wished there were even more. Oh and I have a friend who owns the Burley XL Bark Ranger that’s $700 and we both like the Doggyhut better! It was very easy to assemble too. It took us a few minutes to figure out how to release the wheel pin but that was just our own stupidity. Lol. The wheels pop on and off very easily and this fits in the back of my car (Honda Element SUV) without even taking the wheels off. Probably most SUVs you would just have to pop the wheels off first…my car is very wide. I haven’t had to fill the tires at all yet and I use it all the time. I haven’t used the bike trailer function yet (I’m nervous because of how big Willie is and how small I am, lol) but I do plan on trying it soon and I will definitely come back and update my review. Hopefully this helps someone else decide if it’s right for them! I couldn’t be happier with our purchase and I keep saying that this was the best purchase I’ve made in year! Haha. I hope you find what you’re looking for for your pup! ... show more

  • If you return, you PAY shipping~
Color: Gray Size: Up to 100 lbs Set name: Trailer
Our pup has cancer and our vet recommended a bike trailer since he likes to run and he's unfortunately not able to run any longer.. He's never had a bike trailer before and I knew that was going to take a little bit of training and there's a possibility I would have to return the item.. I viewed the policy and didn't see anything abnormal with the return policy so I went ahead and purchased the item My pup is my service animal as well and he is just over 90 lb Staffordshire terrier... We went ahead and put the bike trailer together in our home. It's definitely on the large side which is what we need it one of the things I was not a fan of that I didn't realize the front opening doesn't open completely it has two windows top and front in our pup was not a fan of that. I overlooked that it was not a full opening in front as I thought it was.. Started training without the wheels and he just wasn't a fan. Put the wheels on try to do some more training and he still was not having it.. So after a few weeks of attempts decided it would be best to go ahead and return the item as it was not going to work for our needs. And doing so I received an email from the seller advising to return I was responsible for the shipping and they would deduct that from the credit or they could give me $10 to keep the item.. I did reach out to Amazon to see if there was anything I could do since this was not listed in the return policy and I was advised to go ahead and return and then contact Amazon once the return was done and they would see how they could make things right.. I reach back out to the seller to advise I didn't appreciate for myself or future customers purchasing that the return policy did not list the customer would be responsible for shipping if returned.. How easy for the seller to go ahead and make sure in the return policy that it stated the customer would be responsible for shipping if returned.. most of us have Amazon prime and do you get free delivery and majority of everything I've ever returned if any have never had a fee attached to it.. I do understand this item is heavy however I did pay well over $10 in taxes alone and well over $200 for the item to be received on my end so we're not talking chump change.. After reading more into the reviews there were a lot of folks advising that the trailer tips over for the larger or heavier animals.. If you are considering definitely look into that as well just as a precaution and continue to read the rest of the reviews regarding the material and the customer service of the seller.. At this point I've emailed the seller and requested them to go ahead and waive the shipping as a courtesy since it wasn't listed but I'm not sure where exactly I'll get at the moment and more than likely I'll end up having to pay to ship it back which probably will run anywhere from $50 or so that they say they will be deducting from the credit of course.. Hopefully this review helps ... show more
