First of all, I have several KODAK products, from the Mini Shot 4 ERA to the KODAK Dock Printer. This camera is exceptional, serving as both a camera and a high quality photo printer. The 4-Pass system produces stunning photographs, laminated, and ready to last a century. The "film" is the least expensive I have found comparing all competitors. It is $.30 per photograph, while others are from $.50 to well over a dollar per print. The only downside is that the photographs your take must either be printed instantly or discarded forever. There is no SD card or image storage. If you really want the digital image too, shoot it with your smart phone and Bluetooth to the camera's printer for striking images, plus the digital image on your phone. Obviously I do like the KODAK products, having been a professional photographer. This camera (the Retro) is generally cheaper than the ERA, yet has has identical specs, lens and all, only the body design is slightly different. Go RETRO to save. Film, etc. is identical with both models. Final word, if you want the joy of holding real high-quality photographs in your hands again, or even showing your children what an actual photograph is, this is an ideal purchase.

I have printed a couple photos and I love it. I do not know how well it works compared to others this is the first camera I have bought. I love that I can print photos from my phone as I just lost my dog a few days before getting this. Only problem is that the battery seems to fade fast and it never gets to 100% for me it is always 80%. but over all I love it.

Usually, I don’t review. I got this for a gift, and the camera is pretty good, it’s interesting to see the printing process. The print isn’t the best quality, a little hazy, but overall, I do recommend for beginners!

This kodak retro 3 instant camera with built in printer is great I'd been wanting one for along time and a lady friend helped me to get it and it's the greatest money I ever spent. The pictures are 3×3 and when they instantly print the picture is awesome and very clear it's not blury or anything. It has a built in flash you can turn on or off and it also has built I'm printer that u can blue tooth to your phone and take photos from your phone e and printer them instantly as well. Very fun and nice to have I'm very happy with my camera and the function buttons are easy to read and very easy to use!!

I haven't rated PICTURE nor PRINT quality yet because I find I shall have to devote some undivided attention & time to figuring this thing out. There are instructions; however, they are printed so small I must use a magnifying glass to read them accurately (I usually do not even need reading glasses). The instruction sheet is big, promising lots of detailed, step-by-step directions such as "how" to charge the unit instead of just "charge" it. The instruction sheet is all accordian-folded and about a yard long so I thought there would be many, many explanations, each step with a whole bunch of sub-steps. But no. Each folded rectangle displayed the same cryptic instructions but in a different language, some from countries I had never heard of and which would probably change with the next international upheaval. The little gift items were cute & more unnecessary than the teeny-tiny plastic "toys" in a Cracker Jack box. The closer for me was the indication that I would have to attach my Kodak point-and-shoot (which isn't in any way a point-and-shoot) to some Ap, WiFi or Blue Thing, a surprise to me because I hadn't been prepared, to my knowledge, for another functional item needed to get the Kodak Mini Shot Retro to work for me. I shall take a day or so to work with it & perhaps discern its ways so I might be able to use it to point & shoot my grandchildren. Or I might send it back. I don't think Kodak should call something "Retro" if they are going to make it impossible for actual retro people to read the instructions with just their reading glasses nor get it ready to shoot it after pointing it. Retro products should be manageable by Retro persons; especially because those Retros are the only ones who remember when Kodak was really point-and-shoot ALL RETRO PEOPLE, LISTEN UP: DON'T BUY THIS CAMERA UNLESS YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY OPERATED COMPLICATED CAMERAS SINCE THAT WAY-BACK TIME YOU HAPPILY TOOK PICTURES OF YOUR GREAT-GRANDKIDS WITH YOUR BROWNIES.
