Product Description The KnuKonceptz KOL-AK8 amp kit features our top of the line Tinned Oxygen Free Copper Kolossus power & ground wire. Made up of ultra flexible PVC and ultra fine tinned strands of oxygen free copper (OFC), the Kolossus Kable is the standard for which all others are compared to. KnuKonceptz KOL-AK8 amp kit is a complete kit and includes all parts to install a 2 channel or mono amplifier. Components include: Kolossus 8 gauge power wire (18FT), 8 gauge ground wire (3FT) Klarity 2 Channel Coaxial RCA (17FT) & 14 gauge speaker wire (20FT). All hardware is included to properly terminate and secure your amp installation kit. The In line Mini-ANL fuse holder includes a 60A fuse. Kit Includes: How many watts can this amp kit handle? At KnuKonceptz, we do not use "watts" to rate our amp kits. This is a very inaccurate method to determine what the proper gauge wire required for your amp installation. Many amp manufactures do not represent the output of their product accurately in watts. Please refer to your amplifier's fuse rating, this is a number a manufacture can not fake, well they could but it would put their product in harms way! Add up the fuses on the end of your amp (two 30A fuses = 60A total draw) If this number is under 60A, this kit will fit your application. If over 60A, a larger gauge wire would be required. For this we recommend the KnuKonceptz Kolossus 4 Gauge amp kit All KnuKonceptz Cable Products clearly state these specifications These materials are commonly used, but not commonly stated when shopping online. Know what you are purchasing. Both metals are capable of performing up to their rated loads. Wire gauge is crucial to powering your system correctly. Undersized cable will create unsafe conditions and may shorten your amplifier's life. Wire's ampacity changes with gauge and materials. KnuKonceptz does not rate cable based on watts. Amplifier manufactures do not always truthfully state the output of their product, check your on board fuses!

Came with almost everything I needed. I'd rather it came with some butt-end connectors rather than screw type. But the power cable is very hefty, as described, the fuse seems good. Purchased the kit as it had the recommend wire gauge for my kicker amp. The OFC wires are extremely easy to work with, was accurate gauge, and of high quality material. I appreciated the connectors included. The fuse included in the kit was very nice, be careful when opening the fuse case as it has two small rubber o-ring/gaskets that are very easy to lose. I bought a kit similar to this from the brand boss. Their cables claimed to be 8 gauge, yet these cables from KnuKonceptz were thicker by a large margin. Not to mention this kit is OFC and AWG certified. This kit is well worth the money. Everything included is high quality. This kit provides everything needed to install an amplifier. I used this kit to install a spare tire subwoofer with an amplifier built in, and this kit did a wonderful job. ... show more

True OFC wiring throughout. I didnt see in description where it also came with speaker wire, but maybe I just missed it. All wire, from power to ground, and speaker wire is OFC. Shielded with a silicone feel covering, seems well made to me! The RCA's are shielded and twisted, in a smoke colored shielding. This is the best you're going to get on Amazon in regards to an entire kit for powered amplifiers. Everything from the connectors to the fuse holder look to be of excellent build quality. Very happy with this purchase. Update: Upon reading every review on here about these wires claiming to be OFC but not? Educate yourselves. These are Tinned Copper. AKA OFC. The tinning is a great added bonus but the wire is absolutely copper. I like the one review where the guy states they painted the center copper colored. He's the real MVP.😂 ... show more

    • Good wiring, bad lugs
I actually found that this wiring felt great and was plenty large. it's one of the cheapest OFC kits as well and deserves credit for that. Even the RCA cable was nice. But the lugs and rubber sleeves included kinda suck. They didn't crimp well, bent very easily, and the sleeves were too small to work on any wiring of the correct size. I threw them all out and used my own. Overall very happy. But I really wanted a kit with all the proper ends and these didn't do the job. ... show more

I baught this for an active sub install, if you go to the section that provides picture reviews they complain about it bring copper clad aluminum when the description say it's oxygen free copper wire. They are ignorant individuals. Knukonceptz uses tinned OFC wire so the silver color you see is the tin to help prevent corrosion. It does not affect anything abt the wire and helps prevent corrosion. It's good wire and is true 8 gauge OFC wire. ... show more
