I like it a lot. I had no idea there was so much moisture in our house! The only problem that I have found with this unit is that when you go to empty the water water comes out of all sides when you’re pouring it, and therefore there is always a spill, no matter how hard you try not to spill the water when you’re dumping it because it is a large reservoir. Now that being said, I’m always glad to be dumping it because I’m glad that much moisture is getting out of my home.

Inadequate for coverage of square feet advertised.

The unit has one of the smallest holding tanks for water removed from the air I have ever encountered. The autonomic shutoff mechanism for when the tank fills up does not work. This seems to be a design problem more than a failure to my individual unit. The shape of the tank which wraps around the core of the unit is awkward and easy to mishandle. I would advise using it only with the drain hose attached, which is too short anyway. Struggles to reduce humidity in a less than 1000 sq foot apartment, much less a 5500 sq ft one. Needs to be emptied about every eight hours minimally if hose drainage not used. Unit has to be elevated to properly function in that configuration as well. Optional foldable overflow tank was a joke as well.

This dehumidifier has been a game changer for our basement. We have an unfinished basement in our new home and it always felt so damp. Then we noticed a few things starting to get moldy so we started looking for a dehumidifier. After looking at dozens we settled on this one and boy are we happy. It made a difference right away. When we first turned it on, humidity was reading 64 and within 24 hours it was down into the mid 50’s and it consistently got drier and drier with each passing day. We got the external bucket so that is was easier to empty and we absolutely love that and highly recommend it. After a couple of weeks we decided to add a second unit and now our 1800 SF basement has a humidity reading of 34-35. No more mold. We are extremely happy with these machines.

This dehumidifier is fantastic, I run it on auto in my bedroom due to some serious moisture and odor problems from my upstairs neighbors window a/c unit. This worked immediately on not only the moisture but also the odor, it’s completely gone. I have zero complaints and highly recommend, especially since I was also able to buy it on a payment plan.

Our basement does not feel like a swamp anymore! Running this unit keeps the humidity in the basement in the low 50s compared with the high 80s where it was. It worked quickly. I have to empty it every 24-36 hours, but the bin when full is not too heavy. You have to remove the bin carefully when it is completely full. But I got the hang of it and can empty it easily without spilling now. It is pretty quiet and easy to set up and use.

When our old dehumidifier went to appliance heaven we had to make a quick choice and it appears, at least as of today, that we made a good choice! We haven't had this dehumidifier very long yet, but it was easy to set up and so far it has been trouble free. It runs so quietly that we don't even know it's ON unless we actually go down stairs to check on it. It does a good job of removing moisture from our basement which we drain directly into a floor drain so bucket capacity really doesn't apply for us.
