This yarn is an excellent value for the price! For crochet, it works up very nicely with almost no splitting or snagging. It's also in that sweet spot of being usable for worsted and DK weight projects by changing hook sizes. The colors were very consistent throughout the pack and the yarn itself has a strong but airy loft. In double crochet, it works up into a medium-weight yarn fabric that folds nicely in all directions, and has a stiff drape. My one downside is that this yarn is not soft. It may soften with washing, but straight out of the pack it is rather scratchy. This does not bother me as the piece I'm making is not going to be worn against skin, just something to note. Also, it is pure wool so hand wash only unless you want it to felt! Definitely would recommend for a fiber crafter looking to explore more natural fiber materials. ... show more
