Beautiful set. Highly recommend. These are not the toss in the sink or dishwasher variety. Special care is important to maintain quality. Many review complaints are a result of not reading the pamphlet included. This quality steel requires special care. Unlike knives I’ve ever used to include as a restaurant chef. Example: Don’t use a dishwasher to clean, or prep food on hard surfaces. The directions are packed with tips and tricks to proper care to protect your investment, quality of the handle and metal blade. The knives arrived razor sharp. Packed with tip protectors, in plastic, and inserted in a cardboard sleeve. Packed snuggly in a box. Next to the block packed in its own box. Take note of directions for various methods to sharpen. Conveniently offers a sharpener for one method, and directions for proper effort to ensure maintained effectiveness and ultra fine slicing ability. 13 pieces includes nine knives, scissor, peeler, storage bock, and attached sharpener. If you’re like me need a little research to understand the type of steel these are made of. “Steel is a high carbon martensitic stainless steel produced by German manufacturers, it exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance. X50 Cr MoV 15 is popularly used to make kitchen knives like cleavers, paring knives, utility knives, chopping knives, and chef knives.” Upon purchase prepared meals that related to each blade to explore the various qualities of each. Quite impressed. Whether thin tomato slices to a home baked bagel cut in two without depressing the bread itself … each knife passed its various tests with flying colors. For cleaning I’ve rinsed with a little Dawn and dried between a brown paper towel to restore the steel to its resting state easily. In regards to appearance, compared next to my surgical steel knife set stored in a block in similar fashion these are exquisite in appearance. Compared to the basic kitchen knife set up. This 13 piece ensemble dresses up the countertop landscape. As a youth attended chef school and have been an assistant in a couple of high end establishments. These ring the type of quality to handle gourmet meal prep and basic fruit plate prep. Beware, razor sharp blades could cause injury if not properly managed through the food slicing process. Unlike the average knife set these have a paper cut thin sharpness. Reminding me of Ginsu commercials back in my youth. If you’re shopping for a knife set you can abuse. Leave in the sink. Forget to wash with food stuck on the blade. This is not your dream set up. If you’re seeking a well assembled kitchen dream team of blades that will make meal prep and service a quality experience. Equipped with tools to tackle any food need or experience look no further. I’ve not needed to use the sharpener yet. The directions give some instruction. The block sharpener appears easy to master with the tips provided. The scissor is awesome. I’ve grown so use to a basic kitchen pair the new clippers dominate any I’ve used for decades. I’m please with this ensemble of cutlery. Well made. Wonderful job for meal prep to food prep of produce to freeze. Every knife works above expectation for quality cutting quick and easy. We purchased these knives and the enowo Kitchen Knife Set to compare. Although both sets are very similar, we are returning this set since we liked the enowo knives a little better while cutting a super soft tomato and other vegetables. When we washed and dried these knives, the stain on the wood came off on our towel. In short, these knives are sharp and an overall great product.

What made me buy this set of knives it mostly the way it looks. Such a fancy and premium look considering the price. When I opened it every knife was wrapped individually and so was the block. It also included a peeler and fork which was a nice addition because I always need a peeler around and mine was getting old. They seem well made and very sharp.i like the handle design and the length on the steak knives. I did find them to be lighter than expected but it makes them easier to handle. I liked that they are one solid piece and don't have an attached handle because those usually get loose over time and even break. I purchased the stainless steel ones and that makes them so much easier to clean and keep them looking sharp

I ordered them as the design of the stand was super nice and matched my wood floors, thr knives are sharp, they are comfortable, and again, just look amazing. As far as the sellers and customer service goes. I couldn't be more pleased, I contacted them as my stand had a small Crack in the wood, they responded not only quick, but with no issues/hassle at all! I simply asked for a replacement wood block and these guys sent me a entire new set! Couldn't be more pleased!

I had ordered a set from this company on a sale deal and was super astonished by the quality build of the knives and the wood holding block. But one of the knives had a scratch on it, nothing that would hinder the usage but from an aesthetics point of view when paired with all the rest of the polished knives in the set. So reached out to the seller and the customer service department was OUTSTANDING. They were quick with replies and they resolved the issue with above and beyond my expectations when sending that first message. This knife set is quite nice and handy to have in the kitchen. The knife block is perfect too since it took away the knife clutter in my kitchen. The silver round block on the side is actually the knife sharpener. I tried out all the knives in the set and I am happy with them all. So far the Santoku is my favorite one. I am glad that this set also came with 4 steak knives, which I don’t see often in sets. The handle is very comfortable and durable. You can have a good grip without slipping. The knife blade itself felt very durable and sharp. I was able to chop,slice, mince and dice with ease. I am thinking about buying a set for my mom very soon, especially with the store offer! It’s not pictured on the box, but the set had extra parts. Mine came with potato peeler and kitchen shears!!
