This knife set is gorgeous. I decided to treat myself to a new one. They’ve been in daily use now for over 2 months and I am very happy with them. fits perfectly in my contemporary style kitchen.I especially love it’s space-saving design and To my surprise With my limited counter space this vertical setup freed up more of it than I anticipated it would. The clear case is awesome I can see exactly what knife I need before taking it out. I never realized how many times I pulled out a knife and had to put it back because it was the wrong one before owning this awesome set. The knives are very high quality. They are sharp And the included Sharpener helps keep them that way. The variety of knives are perfect for every every one of my cooking needs. The handles are soft and comfortable to use for long periods of time. my old set would sometimes give me blisters after cutting large quantities of vegetables. No more of that with these! I really do love them! it also came beautifully packaged. I’m considering buying a set for my mother-in-law for Christmas. I also found this to be a terrific value. highly recommend!

Not the best picture but this set is being used at the non-profit we run that offers free meals to the community several times per week. We have an assortment of knives in drawers that we need to hunt through, so I found this to be a good option. Food handling requirements don't like knives in holders because you can't see what kind of dust, insects, or crumbs, etc could be hidden within. But this knife holder eliminates that problem. With a large food grade clear acrylic bag used as a cover over the top it will also eliminate concerns about them remaining sanitized between uses. I could have done without the steak knives and had more paring or chef knives instead, but I know my husband will grab out steak knives to cut carrots and tomatoes and never know the difference :) It would have been nice if there was another loop to drop the scissors into. There is a metal loop to hold a veggie peeler at one end...a second on the other end for the kitchen scissors would have been convenient. Also if the base were widened a bit to allow a space for the knife sharpener it would have been nice also, but it's not a deal breaker. Good set for the money.

Knifes were sharper than what we had and initial quality seemed decent. However, one of the less used pairing knifes the handle fell apart. I reached out to Midone hoping they would reach out to me regarding the issues and they never responded. Not great customer service. If the quality was good they should back their product. Somewhat dissatisfied, even for the price point UPDATE-Midone reached out to me when I contacted them thru Amazon and not only replaced the single bad knife but sent a whole new set! This changed my review to 5 Stars.
