I love their balance in my hand. They're sharp, and I love the sleek knife block tgat they came with. Beautiful and performs well with steak, veggies, and fruits. What more could I ask for? Nothing. I've got it all. Mind you, I bought the cleaver and chefs knife first and they dud their job well enough to nudge me to replace a very marked up, underperformed knife set. No more hacking and switching hands for me. Longevity? We'll see but Imarku has a good reputation based on other reviews, so I hope they didn't take a shortcut, but I'm very optimistic. ... show more

I have always wanted a good knife set, but have only had money for the cheap department store sets, the flimsy $50 type sets so this is a massive upgrade. The metal is much harder than the cheap sets so you don't need to sharpen it as often

I used a few of these knives during cooking and they seem to be of good quality. Very sharp. One of the bigger knives cut through a pineapple with no problem. The knife block is really sturdy and I like the fact you can remove the smaller blocks, if needed. It will take up a lot of counter space as this is a big block of knives. These aren't heavily weighed knives. The handles are pretty light. I personally prefer knives with more weight to them, but I didn't remove any stas for this reason as this is more a personal preference. Ordered the 20 piece set and box arrived undamaged. On one knife, the endcap on the handle was broken off. Contacted the seller via Amazon and the seller IMMEDIATELY shipped a replacement knife. Seller followed up to ensure we received the knife and that it was in good condition. So far the knives have held up well and have kept their edge. You can tell that the knives are hand crafted as not all handles are exact and are not exactly lined up. (off by .5 degree or less on a couple of knives) None of the blades are bent nor is the block cracked as others have indicated. ... show more
