Let me start by saying these knives are absolutely beautiful and my wife so so excited to get them for Christmas just over 2 months ago, HOWEVER, it is now March 7 and they are breaking and rusting! We hand wash them only and the ones being used regularly have broke at the handles and the blades are rusting as pictured. I read the reviews and they all seemed great. UPDATE: The owners of the company that sell these knives contacted me with concerns for the review I posted. It has come to my understanding that we received a bad batch and they sent us a brand new set. The customer service was wonderful and they made sure we were well taken care of. I have never had a business be so willing to correct an issue and be so caring. They clearly take pride in their products and I will definitely purchase from them again. ... show more

I love the way they feel and look but unfortunately the chef's knife came cracked and that's a bummer cause that is the knife I rely on cause I am a cook and use this knife quite often in the kitchen

Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase, however they’re not really Damascus steel as depicted on the photo, rather the pattern seems to be printed or etched onto the blades. Still, they are sharp and sturdy and I plan to use them for a very long time.
