My mother cooks on days that I work and she was saying recently that her knives were old and she was kind of thinking about looking around for a set and I noticed these and decided to order them and give them a try. She reports that the knives are very sharp. They are easy to handle and feel good in the hand. There is a knife to cut every type of food and do so effortlessly as they are very sharp. She loves the color, and the knife block is very handy and all the cutlery fits and slides in and out without difficulty. The knife block is sleek and modern looking, and saves space on the counter. I have to say that when I was finally free to use the knives that I agree with her assessment. They are well balanced and sharp, feel good in the hand, and have cut through everything I have tried them on without an issue. Eventually they will dull over time, but I have a good knife sharpener and we'll see how well they sharpen. For now we will enjoy the quality. I recommend this set. I think it comes at a good price for the quality.

This knife set is great quality. Functions as should so Do Not play with because everything is sharp! I've cut myself twice but I still think they are great and I use everything often in my kitchen. The holder and sharper are easy to use. It looks good appearance wise. No rust so far. And none of the knives are heavy feeling.

This set has a really well rounded selection of knives that is about exactly what you need, a basic included (and visually matching) sharpener, and a quite feature rich peeler. It also looks very nice, and the knives themselves seem well made. I've very happy with it. 5 stars. Not really anything to complain about.

Seems to stay up even though it is narrow. I was able to place a few extra knives in the holder. The knives included in the set all work well, great starter set. The scissors are fair to good. I haven't tried the peeler and I am pretty sure I don't want to use this type of knife sharpener that is included. The knife feels comfortable in my hands. I am happy with this set. The knives look like they have a "finish" on them, if so I am wondering if that wears off with use or not. Having this block frees up a drawer for something else in the kitchen. I feel it is a tremendous value for the price.

This knife block set is unique in shape and color, giving a really sleek and stylish look that can be a great addition to the kitchen decor. Beyond just the aesthetics though, the included knives are easy to hold, feel quite durable, and are beyond adequately sharp right out of the box. I have not attempted re-sharpening yet, so cannot speak to that effect currently. The knives are easy to clean and maintain, dishwasher safe is handy as well!
