Bought this so we could take our excellent knives along on a road trip that included visits with family members who wouldn’t know good knives if you showed them. We find it dangerous to chop veggies etc with dull weak knives so have resorted to bringing our own. But packing and hauling them was also dangerous. This tough roll does the trick. The knives are stored efficiently and safely, we are safe, we have a great place to store them on the road. It even came with small blade tip guards to make storing and carrying our chef’s knives even safer.

If this was called a knife roll, I would be fine, BUT it is called a chef knife holder. I should have done the measurements and not assumed it would hold a 10" chef knife. Also it will not fit my extra wide 8" chef knife nor my 7" usuba. I think the product is misleading.

As stated, heavy duty tin cloth like canvas. No special cut proof lining depicted in their second photo. Instead I got a bag with a bunch of knife tip protectors (little plastic pieces you slip on the point of the knife). I feel there is more of a risk of me cutting myself putting these on then the knife poling through. Also, you know they will laying in the sleeve or on the floor or in your food in no time. For the price, it will keep my good knives from getting dinged and scratched in my camper as I drive.

Worked very well to carry a selection of knives to the vacation rental this year. Prior to this live been wrapping them in dish towels. This is a much better solution.

Pretty decent waxed canvas. Pretty solid but the individual slots are pretty thin, any thing over 2 inches wide won’t fit. Super easy to run a sharp knife between them and double the size of the slot and for the price why not. Use a decent blade protector and it should last a long time.

Worked as it should. However, any sharp knife will go right through the material. They send you tip protectors, but they are very small and fall off. I ended up just putting a towel under and over the blades to protect the tip and the material. I also had a hard time fitting some of my knife handles into the slots- they're fairly snug. For the price, not too bad and does the job when I need to travel with my knives for work.
