These knives are sharp so be careful. They were packaged beautifully and worth the wait. I have been wanting to purchase a new knife set for years, but when my son decided to move out I started looking for knives and cookware to replace my sets because I gave him my oldies but goodies. Wow! What an incredible knife set! I bought these knives as a Christmas present to myself -- ha ha -- and I expected them to be good, but NOT this good! These knives are heavy duty, made of the most solid steel, and they make that sound that you hear in movies when a gladiator pulls his sword from the sheath -- that heavy singing noise that only the best steel can make. Not only that, but in nearly 2 months of use, these knives are still razor sharp and haven't needed sharpening! I've paid this much for two 'fancy Japanese made knives,' and even they didn't come close to this quality. Again, color me super impressed!

I had never seen a butcher block and knife set in white. When I received it, it was great quality, as described and the knives are extremely sharp. Well made from great materials and look gorgeous. I would highly recommend these for any chef or anyone looking for super sharp, good quality knives

This set is nice but not great, if you can get them at $139 or $149 it’s worth the cost…but seems a lil expensive at $189 Haven’t had them long enough to see if they rust or dull quick More variety would have been nice But overall a nice set

Was so happy to get this set but unfortunately one of the knifes broke due to falling on kitchen floor (hard marble) but as I contacted the seller to see if it had warranty, they said it had expired without asking they resent me an entire knife set not just the replacement knife. They went above and beyond what I expected. I will certainly recommend this company and product, not to mention I’m about to look at all their products as I will purchasing from them soon. I wish all companies would follow in their footsteps they have earned my Busniss for life.
