Wetsuit quality can be judged by looking at the quality of the material, how good are the seams, and is the cut decent. Looking at the material it appears to be the claimed 2mm thickness and it exhibits very good stretch in all directions. The softness and stretch will make it conform nicely to the wearer. Sleeve pictures show the at-rest dimension and easily stretching around a pint paint can. Like all soft neoprene it would tend to compress if you wear it on a dive, losing some of its insulating quality. The sleeve openings are cut but not hemmed. I repeatedly stretched the sleeve opening as far as it would reasonably go for 100 cycles and did not observe any delamination of the fabric and neoprene so it should be durable (picture). The roll edge seal applied around the leg openings is skin neoprene to provide a decent seal and should reduce flushing in the wetsuit (pictures). The seams are tightly sewn and provide ample stretch along the seam. The seams are not the more expensive “glue and blind stitch” type found on more expensive (and usually thicker) suits but are appropriate for this price point and well done. The ends of seams are adequately managed to prevent them from beginning to come apart. The seam that reaches the sleeve opening is reinforced inside with tape (picture). The only seam to watch is the connection between the zipper and the neoprene. It looks like if the thread were to break the seam would quickly start to unravel. The cut appears true to size and the great stretch of the neoprene will accommodate a variety of shapes. The hip size is ample and the torso length is average. The neck opening is comfortable but does not provide a very good seal so flushing should be expected. If you don’t like being a walking billboard for the wetsuit brand this suit is a good choice. Pictures show the subtle logos on the front and rear near the neck. This wetsuit is competitive with others in its price range and if the cut fits you it should give years of satisfying service.

I tried this wetsuit mainly to check overall fit and comfort. For reference, I’m about 5'4" and 175 lbs, and the size I received was marked as a 12 on the tag. On my frame, the suit fit but felt quite snug, especially through the torso, and more compressive than I expected. Based on how it fit me, someone with a slightly smaller frame or less compression preference would likely find it more comfortable. The coverage itself was good, and it stayed in place during movement without riding up in the back. The colors look nice, and the neoprene feels consistent with what I’d expect for a 2mm shorty. The front zip design also made it easier to put on and take off. Overall, this wetsuit appears well made with good coverage, but the fit runs on the snug side, so selecting the right size will depend closely on body type and comfort preference.

A 2mm wetsuit is something of a cross between a swimsuit and a cold water wetsuit. This KMT shorty suit will be used when the weather warms just a bit for kayaking in mountain lakes. It's made a good first impression. It's attractive in color and style. More important, it fits just right, meaning it will be useful for kayaking and taking dips in cool but not freezing water.

I ordered this KMT “Women Wetsuit, Womens Long Sleeve Shorty Wet Suit 2mm Front Zip Springsuit Swim Surf Dive Scuba One Piece Neoprene Thermal…” in size 16, Color Red. In actuality the color is a bright fuchsia pink. The fit is okay. The model in my photos is 5’9”, 185lbs, 38B, street size 12 tops, 14 bottoms. The butt is cut too high to fully cover the buttocks, which makes it a bit uncomfortable and also shows my swimsuit. Size up! The arms are wonderfully long, but also very narrow, and stiff for swimming. But this suit kept me warm in cold water, so it won me over. The only big problem I have is that the zipper does not go down far enough to be able to take off solo. I required the help of another person to get it off - embarrassing in the locker room. The quality overall is good, but I see opportunity for tears at the zipper because it is not reinforced. The product is good, with room for improvement. Some tweaks to design would make this a 5 star.
