This is a decent beginner’s pedal, has a variety of different sounds and also recording capabilities. It’s my son’s first pedal and is not bad for a starts, he has a smaller amp and he’s barely learning so this is not complicated for him to learn how to use a more complicated pedal. I would say that for the money, this is a good choice.

For an acoustic guitar person, this is a fun pedal to play around with effects--and you don't have to invest in an electric guitar setup. There are 50 preset effects, plus looping and rhythm to mess around with. The pedal is easy to use. You can run on battery or AC plugin. The downside is the plastic housing, which may or may not stand up to the wear and tear of regular use. This is a good value for the money, though, and a good entry into using effects.
