I have 4 cats. They are jerks. The Italian linen cloth dining chairs that previously adorned my dining table were turned into chair shaped scratching posts by my 4 fur babies. They still chose those chairs over their scratching posts that were put around the dining area. I ended up noticing that they would shred anything that had that type of fabric but not leather or velvet (or velvet type) fabrics. So I hopped onto Amazon to find replacement chairs. I don’t plan to keep the dining table for more than a few more years so I didn’t want to spend a lot on chairs but knew they had to be a velvet or velvet like material. Came across these and they checked the boxes! Velvet, simple, and were within my budget for 8 total. Now- let’s talk about the gold legs….just NO! It looked like crap. The color was very yellowish gold and almost gave it a shiny plastic look. I have gold hue decor in my dining room so I know for a fact that these were not! Pulled out the spray paint (black) and gave the chair legs a face lift. I’ve had these for almost a year now and they are still intact and have held up quite nicely. My fur babies only sleep on the chairs- no more chair shaped scratching posts! ... show more

These came pretty quickly. These were every easy to assemble, after I messed up the first chair putting the back legs on the front, everything after that was easy. Chairs are sturdy, fabric is nice, and the gold pairs well with my other decor.

I placed an order for 4 chairs and when only two were delivered I was a bit worried. I contacted the seller and they made sure I received the other two. The chairs were super easy to put together. We ordered 2 chairs. After assembling the first chair, the legs were uneven (one was noticeably shorter, as another reviewer had mentioned) and the chair was wobbly. However, since the second chair has less of an issue, we decided to try rearranging the legs of the first chair. After rearranging the legs of the first chair *3* separate times (two legs are specified for the front, two for the back), we resulted in a relatively even chair.
