I’ve owned a high-quality stereo system featuring KEF Reference floor-standing speakers for over a decade. While the sound has always been impressive, I found it lacked bass depth. Recently, I decided to enhance the experience by adding a Klipsch subwoofer, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The addition of the Klipsch subwoofer has significantly enriched the sound, bringing much-needed depth and warmth to the music. It’s compact, doesn’t take up much space, and was reasonably priced, making it a great value. One thing worth noting: this small subwoofer is surprisingly powerful. I actually had to reduce its gain setting to balance the sound properly. Overall, I highly recommend this subwoofer to anyone looking to elevate their audio setup. My first Sub, and it's pretty great. I have a pair of vintage Snell Type E speakers and I always felt that the low bass was somewhat lacking. Thanks to its adjustability, this sub is able to be set to do just that, without overpowering the music. Very nice, good value.

I was looking for a replacement subwoofer. I called Klipsch to verify that the seller was an authorized seller. I have floor standing main speakers and was looking for something that would add something to the bottom end of the sound. I was pleasantly surprised by this little sub. Added just what I was looking for. If you have the room I would recommend two of these on either side of your mains. Does this provide house shaking bass like my old 12" sub, no, but that's not what I bought it for. Does it provide enough bass for our open floor living area, yes it does. Does great with music and movies. Don't know if I would recommend it for someone who has all small speakers and looking for the sub to play all the way up to 150 Hz and match the sound of what you have, unless you bought the matching ones that Klipsch sells. Around 80 Hz and below is where this little sub shines. ... show more

This isn't the first speaker that I've bought from Klipsch. I really like their lineup, and if you like Klipsch, these won't disappoint you. This subwoofer really has the punch, but it's also subtler than my previous subwoofer. This one sounds more nimble and less boomy, which I really appreciate. I'm seriously considering a second unit. The media could not be loaded. This subwoofer is a powerhouse. Its well worth the 199.00. Very easy to set up. I have it with the Klipsch RP600M Speakers. Driven by a Yamaha rxv583 receiver.
