A step-up from our Reference Series subwoofers, The SPL Series have best-in- class MAX output levels making them high-performance subwoofers at affordable prices. Cerametallic woofers are exceptionally light and extremely rigid, providing remarkable low frequency response with minimal cone breakup and distortion for higher, cleaner output using less amplifier power. The built- in, high efficiency amplifier features an analog preamp design, which maintains the original signal path for cleaner, true-to-source reproduction. The class D output stage ensures MAX efficiency for MAX output, detail, and low frequency power. Proprietary internal geometry that minimizes port Noise for clean undistorted low frequencies. The front-firing design allows for placement flexibility. The Klipsch wa-2 wireless subwoofer kit (sold separately) allows high resolution wireless connectivity for easy placement anywhere in your room and optimizes output and low frequency response. Connect up to 4 wa-2 wireless Kits to compatible Klipsch subwoofers in a single room for a completely wireless connection. Low pass Crossover and variable phase control allows you to tune the subwoofer to your Klipsch speakers and to your room, establishing the ideal level of bass. Line level/ LFE RCA inputs ensure compatibility with home theater receivers. Both the RCA and wireless inputs can be utilized, giving you the ability to use A single subwoofer with multiple system in the same room. For example, you can use the wireless input for your home theater set up and the RCA input for your 2-channel system, without needing to switch inputs when changing between systems. Had it over 2 years now and amazing unit. Whole house rocks. Highly recommend. Just place it on proper acoustic stand and sounds so much better, I have it hooked up to a Pioneer elite with full Heco speaker set up and with a 98 inch TV it adds to the movie immersive feeling great.

Decided to spend a bit extra on the better quality 10" vs the lower end 12" and have no regrets. Sounds spectacular and does a great job filling my large room nicely. The price paid is so much lower than MSRP you'd have a hard time competing without spending a lot more money.

Outstanding value for the money, and a must have to round out the bottom end for the RP 600 M’s (also an outstanding speaker at this price point). Are there better subwoofers? Sure. A Martin Logan will give you tighter bass, and I won’t argue with anyone who wants to shell out a little more for an SVS. But at this price, the Klipsch is hard to beat. Aesthetics are a personal matter, but I think it’s gorgeous! And the sound is lively but still smooth (if not as silky or transparent as some of the higher end subs out there.). But if you want anywhere near this quality sound in a different system (let alone one from the UK, which arguably makes the best speakers in the world...) you’d better be prepared to shell out a lot more money. The RP 600-M/ SPL-100 combo can respectably take on systems costing much much more. One final benefit (which doesn’t apply to the SPL, since it is a powered sub...) but Klipsch speakers are highly efficient (usually boasting very high db ratings). In practical terms this means that Klipsch speakers are ridiculously easy to drive. You don’t have to shell out a lot of money for a powerful amp to get great sound. I’m really happy with this sub. I have several subwoofers, so I am able to compare the quality to each other. I have the Klipsch R-120SW which has proven a good one, and it is very close in performance to this model SPL-100 10'. I have been an audio enthusiast for the last 30+ years. With Klipsch's latest powered speaker offerings, I am able to create a theater-like experience in any room with relative ease. I have the SPL-100 paired with The Sevens in our bedroom and the experience is nothing short of phenomenal. Immersive. This sub replaced an SVS 3000 Micro, which is a great product, but its tone can cause ear fatigue. Klipsch's ported design is efficient and produces notes that are low enough for my application. Tonally, the overall presentation is sweet and rich and the sub blends perfectly with The Sevens. Genuinely impressed. This sub is a tiny beast but it's refined when it needs to be. ... show more

Sub is great, better than I expected in range and total volume with my current amp. Buyer Beware of Discounts Jungle. I went to Klipsch Support when the SPL-100 arrived appearing sealed and new in box, but with no grill cover, despite the description on this site stating it had a cover. They replied and said this vendor is not authorized to sell their product new. This could be used, refurbed, or worse... I am keeping it, Klipsch did eventually agree to send me a grill cover, but I guess it's Best Buy from now on for the rest of the speakers I want. Loved the product, just not the seller. ... show more

I've had it about a month now and it's working very very well. The bass is very deep and powerful and I have it on a lower setting. I use it with a Denon a/v reciever for a 5:1 surround sound system for my TV
