  • Don’t think twice and get these speakers.
Color: Ebony pair
First of all the quality of sound is amazing, I have connected these two front speakers with denon 3600x avr. Sound is crisp and clear no too much sharp. Klipsch is well know for dynamic range of music and yes they are in good way. I read so many reviews regarding floor standing speakers from Sony, Polk audio, Kef, Bawer and Wilkin. Not only read reviews but also tested them in home theaters personally. Listening to music and quality music all about personal preference and it's subjective. I don't like muddy or too sharp that hurts your ears. These reference premier speakers are my choice, based on two factors money and quality. These speakers will give you bass that comes from these 2 six inches drivers, and clear sound. I like bass, and for that extra oomph in music and movies will be supported by 12 inch sub, not10inch, I check both at the same time and liked 12 inch. The mid and high are more than enough for me from these two speaker. Thanks to worldwide stereo for shipping it with no issue. They look clean, unfortunately, it is so hard to find the texture of these speakers, I check local retailer stores and they have regular reference series with wood texture, not this ebony, check the picture and see if you wanna go with ebony or walnut. This is kind of smoke color. If you get deals on under $400 each get it. I didn't go with rp 8000 because they are bigger than these rp 6000 obviously because of bigger 8 inches driver. Plus I need bass and you only get that bass from subwoofer, you can't get from 8, 10 inch speakers. But if you have money to spend you can get but still you will need subwoofer for sure. ... show more

  • Just love them!
Color: Walnut
The media could not be loaded. The value for money is amazing!!! I went with the MkI because of the value… I wanted the walnut finish because of my vintage setup… I was upgrading from JBL Stage A170… my living room is not big… but I listen to classical and jazz… when I wanted power with the JBL in, for example, 1812 overture from Tchaikovsky, they were just not there… I’m in the break in period for these Klipsch…. But the difference is abismal! I just love them!!! ... show more

  • Fills the room with wonderfulness
Color: Ebony pair
90 day review Klipsch speakers have the reputation of being overly bright and shouty, just due to the nature of having a horn tweeter. From the lowest speakers they sell (R-51m's which I have) to at least these, they have fixed it. You can listen to these things all day without fatigue. They are very efficient, and one way that manifests is that it gets you a lot of sonic information and subtleties at lower volumes. Also because of the efficiency, they can fill the room fast and easy. Imaging: I have them about 9ft apart and 9ft from "the seat" on the couch. I ended adding just a little bit of toe-in, about an inch or so. It really sets off the soundstage. Any more than that amount of toe-in starts to turn them into expensive and big headphones, where it really is focusing the sound on too small a spot. I am using a PS Audio Sprout 100, which has 50 watts at 8 ohms. It sounds like I would need more, but this is better than some huge Marantz AVR's I tried. ... show more

  • Best performance for the money.
Absolutely outstanding speakers. I have owned these for two years now and demo'd many speakers both before and after purchasing these and I have zero regrets. I actually prefer the sound of these over the larger RP-8000F's, so long as there is a subwoofer in the system. Great size and extremely durable finish. I have a cat that likes to make them his personal jungle gym and they have no scratches yet. ... show more

  • Great value for the $$!!
I've never bought a pair of speakers without listening first. It's one of the Cardinal rules of putting together a great stereo system. Well, I broke that rule and I'm very, very surprised how wonderful they sound!!!! Whew!!! These Klipsch RP6000's are clear and defined along with great bass. No need for a subwoofer for me!!! They're connected to my Cambridge Audio CXA80 integrated amplifier....superb combo!!! I highly recommend them ... show more

These speakers are superb. Stunningly crisp, sharp and punchy. Way better than the Bose speakers I loved, so that should tell you something. You get what you pay for!

  • Great value - if you get it on sale
Color: Walnut
Everything about the speakers is good, not great They sound best with lots of juice (high power/high volume) despite having a 97db sensitivity rating. The speakers play very little detail at low volumes, and the bass is nearly non-existent. Turn the volume up, and the speakers REALLY COME TO LIFE! You will feel the bass in your chest, on the floor, and on your couch and you will hear lots of detail in the sound! Bass sounds very tight and clean on jazz, rock, classical, and most genres that are not bass-heavy. once you play hip-hop, or other bass-heavy genres - the bass gets overpowering and bloated, and concentrates at the mid-bass spectrum and disappears at the deeper notes. These speakers are great for close-range listening, or loud party settings where they can really shine. Either you play them LOUD, or soft but be close to them. Its very important that the speakers are towed in, and pointed towards the listening spot, to creat the best "sound-stage." This is where they will sound best, and you will hear the most detail. Something to note about these speakers sound-stage is that it is pretty narrow, and the sound-stage disappears once.ypu get away from the listening spot. Setup Receiver: Onkyo tx rz 800 (135 watts per channel @8 ohms Bi-amped connection OFC wire I would suggest NOT BUYING AT FULL PRICE.... Good value if you get them ON SALE ... show more
